I have been to this restaurant multiple times, but, always for get to click food pictures and review them. Best place to dine with family or friends. One of the best place for Mediterranean cuisine.Ambience is good. Food is good. Best part is you get unlimited chai if you order one and its so good.Ordered appetizer- Mazza, main course- naan, roti with Shimla paneer, Paneer karahi gosht and Dal fry.Mazza was so tasty and was so nutritiously good. It had falafel-hummus-salad flavour.Naan and roti quantity is way too much so if you are going in a group you can share it.Shimla paneer was quite sweet in taste and I did not enjoy as I like bit of spice in my food and I totally forgot to mention when I placed my order.Paneer Karahi Gosht was medium spice and dal fry was thick in consistency and asked them to make it spicy. All the gravy comes with plain basmati rice.Lastly, Mango Lassi and chai.
I am not a fan of this cuisine, but Saffron changed my mind and taste for their special dishes. I enjoyed this restaurant and its choices of outstanding Indian food so much that I ate there four times in a week! The staff was great in suggesting certain dishes for me as a newcomer and each choice was delicious, nicely spiced and very fresh! I only wish I could have a Saffron Grill near my hometown but I guess I'll just have to revisit Northgate, WA and enjoy the experience again very soon!
I’ve been here a couple of times but it was years ago so we decided to try it again. It’s always packed when we drive by. The menu has a lot of choices so it was a little overwhelming and hard to pick what we wanted. It’s also very expensive for what you get. I thought one plate was a good portion size but the other not so much (Rogan Josh). The service was extremely slow as well. We got our food quickly but everything else we sat there for a good amount of time. Granted they were busy with a couple of servers but they were still very nice. The flavors were great and the bread just melted in your mouth. The sauces were delicious. I would go back just for the sauce and bread! I’ll be back to try their happy hour prices.
I never had Indian food before here so I can't compare that way, but I will say everything I had was amazing! I ate here every night while staying at the hotel Nexus and it was ALWAYS GOOD. best chai tea I have ever had. I ate in twice and ordered out 3 times and both were good experience. Generous amount of food and priced very reasonably. I particularly like the madras masala with goat. It was amazing. Staff was very sweet and acclamation to me and my child in a giant stroller I had to bring in and out. Highly recommended, cannot wait to go back
Good here is always great! The restaurant gets really busy, I’ve been here many many times. The food is so good, I’d drive the 30+ minutes to eat here.Service is always nice, they are attentive, and sometimes even bring you a dessert that is complementary. This visit we had Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken, & Chicken Tikka Masala each dish comes with rice, and like the other comments say it does come with a blanket of naan(which is delicious), we had pesto naan. Highly recommend. Great food & prices!
Had such a fantastic experience taking my parents here !I had the coconut curry. It was pretty heavy but good !My dad who rarely to never branched out and had the tandoori shrimp. He’s a steak and potatoes kind of guy & he loved it !Wonderful service.Beautiful atmosphere.Loved the free refills on chai ! i’ll definitely be back !
My favorite Indian Restaurant…one of 3 favorite Seattle restaurants of all time! It’s perfection. Now I’m regretting saying anything because it will be impossible to get a table if it’s too popular. Soooo…forget what I said and have a good day! ??
Parking is excruciatingly tight but worth the effort.Best Lamb Chops I've had in years! There were 6 of us and everyone of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Wait staff was awesome. They were even happy to take our family picture since we hadn't all gotten together since before covid stopped the world.Already planning our next visit.
Tried a few Indian and Mediterranean dishes and it was amazing. Drinks were okay too but not as good as the food. Staff are nice and didn't take long to get the foods and drinks to us. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Definitely going back with friends!
We enjoyed our dinner. I liked the desert. And the service was very good. Both the reception and the waiter did not write down our name nor what we ordered, but did manage to get everything correct. They have really good memory.
