So delicious! We got the fried chicken sandwich and it was a revelation. Apparently they are known for their fried chicken and I can taste why! We also had hush puppies, brussel sprouts and tirimisu. All amazing! Their drinks are fantastic too- they use house-made shrubs that are delectable with or without added alcohol. Will be back for sure!
I ordered the gumbo for carryout. It’s pretty expensive for how much you get, but it’s really good. Very tasty meat and rich with flavors. I wish they would give a bit more bread to match the amount of gumbo.
Loved the outdoor patio and that it was kid friendly! Great hush puppies and chicken and waffles. Kind and helpful staff! Definitely worth checking out!
We relied on 5 star reviews and wrong to this place. However the experience is extremely disappointing. Service is bad, food is not great but too pricey. Overall a very bad customer experience for us.
Highly recommend coming out this way for Cajun, BBQ, fried chicken or just drinks. Inside was a good amount of seats and a long bar. Rows of bottles on both sides of the wall. Outdoor patio dining as well. Great setting. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Happy hour drinks and food every day. Food options were so much more than just bar food. Since there were only two of us we will come back to try more of their menu. The gangster gumbo was a large bowl filled with Cajun spices, sausages, chicken, okra and so on. Was one of my top gumbos for the large serving, thick and hearty and so flavorful. I could’ve eaten two bowls if my stomach was larger. The amazing fried chicken entree came with three pieces and sides of creamy coleslaw and Mac salad. I don’t normally like coleslaw but they changed my kind. The chicken was so crunchy on the outside and tender, juicy inside. No wonder theirs won the best fried chicken in WA in 2020. The dipping sauce that accompanied it added sweetness. Service was spot on. The only caveat is the tight parking. We came at an odd time and only circled once around the block until we found a spot.

This place is amazing. Start off with Margarita’s, then gumbo, and from there everything is amazing. Skinny fries so good with rosemary and truffle! Brisket sandwich amazing. 5 star, must try this place! Homemade tiramisu ??????????????? ??????????
My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful experience here! The staff were very friendly and attentive. I'm from the south and their chicken is the closest thing to home. Hands down the best chicken in the PNW!!! FLAVOR!! It was also refreshing seeing the owner be so involved in making sure his customers were happy. We'll be back soon:)
Best fried chicken ever! Hush puppies are to die for. Amazing cole slaw. Owner Rodel has an put together an interesting, eclectic collection of offerings.
The food is good here and properly described as elevated bar food. However: this restaurant thumbs its nose at the mask mandate and showing proof of vaccination. I was specifically told it did not matter. While there is outdoor seating the indoor seating is extremely crowded and close.
