My wife and I love this bar. One of the best in Seattle by far. Fair prices, excellent bartenders, staff, and customers.
The Mississippi braised beef sandwich is really good, rich and flavorful on a toasted bun. It came with an arugula salad with a light lemon vinaigrette
Just flew into Seattle and was staying at a hotel nearby and was told about the place. This place is awesome it is a real local pub and restaurant. The food is over the top. The service is very impressive had a great time. Would definitely recommend this to everyone coming to Seattle.
I freaking love this place. The only critique I would have is the drinks and food are so good, I want to eat and drink there every day.

We brought my cat to the clinic across the street and had to wait in the car. So we ran across to Russell's to get a bite and pass the time. The ladies inside were friendly and sympathetic to our poor kitty, letting us use the bathroom as we needed. The food was also solid, the bbq sandwich was good and filling and the chili was rich and packed a punch
Russell’s is the perfect neighborhood spot! Staff is incredibly friendly, drinks are always great, and a great selection of apps and snacks. Highly recommend stopping by!
Recently moved to the area and have visited a number of times now. Cocktails are beautifully made, food is solid, and the quality is consistent. Great classic spicy Bloody Mary. The bartender gives it the perfect kick of spicy every time I order. Staff is welcoming and service is great even at the busiest of times.
I can’t wait to come back to this place.I’ve passed it a handful of times because my daughter has play rehearsals at Dance Fremont next door. In an effort to kill time and quickly feed her before her rehearsal, I decided to try Russels. I had no idea it was 21+ until I approached the door. My daughter is 9 so she technically was not allowed to be inside.The nice woman behind the bar said we could still place an order to go but we just needed to step outside since my daughter is underage. I totally understood, so we waited outside, and then placed our order. My daughter chose the meatballs and they were freaking DELICIOUSSSS. They may be the best meatballs I’ve ever had.I truly appreciate the customer service here. I briefly chatted with another gentleman who was kind as well. The vibe here is very laid back and cozy.Thank you to the staff here for being so helpful and not turning us away. It is truly appreciated.
