Cocktail Bar Specialty Food

This is such a fun bar in cap hill! On weekdays it's the perfect spot for happy hour and they also host events like trivia. They always have great music playing as well as delicious drinks. We came for brunch on Sunday morning and it was PACKED. I don't think they take reservations so it's worth it to get there early since the place is small and fills up quick. We tried a bunch of the cocktails which were very fun and tasty. We also ordered food which took over an hour to come out. I'm glad I tried it but I don't think it was worth waiting that long. They also offer bottomless mimosas for $28Very limited parking in this area, you'll probably end up having to pay for a spot in one of the lots if you can't find street parking.

I’ve walked by this place for ages and have always wanted to go in, but after trying it out today I can’t say it was worth it.it’s an absolutely beautiful space with a nice, concise drinks menu, but service was incredibly slow, especially for a place that wasn’t even full. at one point my friend and I were standing at the bar waiting to order (with 3 bartenders behind the counter) and I believe we stood there for about 5 minutes before someone took our order. I swear one bartender was watching a movie on a laptop with their back to us while we tried to get someone’s attention. the overall vibe for service was a little odd and unwelcoming.my friend’s food order was delivered incorrectly (twice), so we ended up closing our tab and looking for another place nearby for food. the place looks cool but didn’t stick the landing for us, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

Rose Temple has a cozy atmosphere. Great music, great bartenders. One of them makes a mean martini. Love this place.Space is a little small, but doesn't seem to get too crowded.

Staff was friendly and helped keep us warm in the patio. Tasty rum & coke. I recommend sitting outside on the weekend unless you like the loud music

What a fun experience! Tried for the first time, during happy hour. Very large portions on the happy hour menu. My first poutine dish and. I really liked it. What really stood out was the genuinely friendly service and the bartender. Our bartender was friendly, patient (it busy but not out control) and a teacher. He gave me a quick lesson on a variation on a Manhattan, ordered it and loved it. Wish I took more pictures. Another reason to return!I recommend this place for sure. Great meet up location off light rail, happy staff and overall positive vibe.Make sure to check out the back room - great spot for a true rendezvous!

Food was great! Customer service was absolutely awful they hate anyone they have to serve that is not a friend they were partying with the night before. Small space but prioritize who FIRST. No one is happy to see you serve you or be Of service to you just to prefer but you will get drunk!

Do not go here hungry for Sunday brunch! It’s so busy and we waited 2 hours for our food. The drinks are awesome, definitely a place to go for drinks but not for food. The biscuits and gravy were both extremely salty as well as the poutine gravy. We enjoyed the music, the drinks but be warned. Don’t go hungry on Sundays, lol. Would recommend but only for drinks and a good time!

OMG. Their drinks are really good. At first I was a bit confused because the menu had just changed but that chicken sandwich is the best thing I’ve ever had in my life and the man who delivered them was so sweet. Also had the poutine, delicious! I liked the decor and ambience.

Let me tell you. After living in the city for a few years and being a huge (and I mean HUGE) brunchie. Shaun killed this brunch!!! Absolutely amazing and friendly staff!! My jaw is on the floor with the food, drinks and vibes. If you’re in the area you have to come here!!!

Best happy hour in cap hill right now, paired with a super rad vibe and great bartenders. Super legit spot
