Very popular place; when we got there on Sunday at 11:45 AM (fifteen minutes after they opened), the place was already mostly full and reserved, so we had to eat at the bar, which wasn't a big deal.Food was a tad expensive, but overall tasted good, plus it was plated aesthetically. Just thought the karaage chicken was a bit too salty. I loved the croquette though!

Came here on a recommendation for having a great Happy Hour 2-530pm. It did not disappoint! They have a $10 special that includes a beer, 5oz Sake and a chef choice appetizer. We also got the spicy tuna crispy sushi bites and the rondo maze-men. Everything was delicious and the staff could not have been nicer!

Absolutely delish! Particularly impressed with how the server/ establishment handled the several food allergies (nuts, shellfish) and sensitivities (gluten, dairy, nightshades) at our table. Still dreaming about my sashimi!

Excellent food and atmosphere. Authentic Japanese curry and macha. The summer special drink is also delicious. The macha dessert is semi-sweet with layers of texture. Definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants in Seattle.

Nice lunch and good taste ?

Modern, fusion style Japanese Izakaya place in Capitol Hill. The food was all a hit during our visit. Very delicious and foods were presented very beautifully. Well balanced and flavor combinations were adventurous but very well done. Great place to come especially during happy hour to grab a bite and a beer to hang out and enjoy.

We visited twice in person and once take out. The food was equally good and consistent. Both times we ordered the bara chirashi donburi and we highly recommend. There are also other chirashi variations if you don't want to eat raw shrimp. Happy hour dishes were really great. The Tako wasabi is really interesting if you are adventurous but not a flavor for everyone. The octopus is chopped and served raw so it has a slimy texture but it has a nice salty umani flavor with a kick of wasabi. It comes with seaweed to wrap it with. I didn't love it at first but it grows on you and I would order it again :). Their curry donut was also really flavorful, consists of two pieces of Chinese donut with a soft boiled egg in curry sauce which was a bit on the salty side. The tasty BB noodle is a bit heavy but great for those who love carbonara. It was a bit salty for me but my husband really liked it. Overall it's a great place and a bonus when it's happy hour

The restaurant week special was very good

Pretty decent restaurant. Highly recommend their Bara Chirashi bowl and Tonkatsu, which was super crispy. The Mr. Pork also tasted great but was kind of heavy. Their fried chicken, however, was a little bit disappointing.
