I went this weekend and waitresses cause I had like 3 just didn't deserve a tip. I was asked for my bill 2 times before I even got all my food. 3 different servers and 1st one was a crabby lady, the second one got us drinks and the 3rd one was only good for asking me for the bill and I literally had 2 orders that weren't even out yet. I still left a tip cause I am not that way but never again.
I would give ZERO stars if possible. We waited for over an hour for our food. When it arrived, there was a hair in my scrambled eggs and a matching hair in my wife’s omelet. We should have expected this given their food rating is only ok, which was conveniently posted on the window behind a bush. Overall, quality was terrible and service was marginal. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Ordered lunch to be delivered. The steak sandwich was very generous and perfectly cooked, as I asked. Tasty food, generous portions, and reasonably priced. An 8-oz. sirloin steak sandwich, fries, AND a green salad for only $16.99 was quite a deal. I ordered breakfast a few days ago. The buckwheat pancakes were substantial and the ham slice was indeed thick as described. I'm visiting Seattle and most likely l'll order from Ravenna Varsity again before I leave.
We got some basic breakfasts and country fried steak; everything was good and high quality! The sausage Pattie’s were nummy!
Don't eat here was there today the cook(male)was not wearing a mask and no gloves I watched him touch ready to eat foods with bare hands then the waitress picked up the plates and brought the food to the table then I told her the cook had no gloves on she proceeded to tell me his hands are clean ???? if you decide to go here prepare your self to get sick remember no mask and no gloves touching ready to eat foods I could tell this happens all the time with this cook (sandy blond shaggy hair maybe in is mid 20 male cooking food ??? I wonder how many people have gotten sick here ??? don't do it
We were refused entrance because of our vaccination status. This is the only location that has done this that we have been to and we've eaten out 3 meals a day for the last 2 weeks.Their website has a go fund me for them on it. They should consider investing in themselves and allowing business instead of begging for other people money that could easily be used for very serious and important fundraisers. They blamed the mandate but we have yet to find another establishment that was too good for our money.
Overpriced and Terrible. Waited over an hour for doughy/soupy undercooked pancakes with the $2.00 upcharged chocolate chips burned beyond recognition and lukewarm biscuits & gravy that had clearly been just sitting somewhere for awhile. An over $50 bill for the worst breakfast for two I've ever had in Seattle. On top of the high prices and the awful quality, The waitress came to "give us an update" and went to leave the bill nearly 30 minutes before we got our food. Horribly unprofessional. I have no plans of ever going back and would warn people away if you care about pricing, quality of food, and your time.
I can eaten here before and the food was delicious. Today I ordered a takeout order and it was all wrong. I order a breakfast combo bacon waffle with scrambled eggs and chicken apple links. I received a plain waffle with scrambled eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. I was very disappointed to find I paid extra for bacon in my waffle and did not receive the correct order. Definitely great food and a quaint atmosphere, but I think I’ll stick to dining instead of takeout.
The Varsity omelette is a nice breakfast (or lunch), but everything is just a little plain. Nothing wrong with that. I noticed that the restaurant seemed a little understaffed when I went, which made long wait times. Many thanks to the woman who was running around and doing everything.
The breakfast me and my three girls had was amazing! Our food came out hot and it was worth the wait. The food tasted fresh and not processed. The staff was friendly as well. Parking was a little hard to find but that is to be expected in Seattle in that area. Great food!
