We had a great dim sum experience at the Purple Dot Cafe. The food was piping hot upon delivery and cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed the French Toast with Peanut Butter. If you haven't tried it, I would highly recommend it. The service was fantastic and the wait staff quickly responded to our requests and questions. Be prepared to wait a little bit, the place is very popular.

Everything we try here exceeds our expectations. We went in blind and did not regret a thing. The wonton noodle soup was great, beef chow-fun was great (a little bit oily), sui mai (a must get) was awesome, shrimp hakaws were great, salted egg custard were not too sweet. Would highly recommend, especially at 10pm since the restaurant opens until 1am

Tried some dimsum in Seattle Chinatown. This was one of the restaurants that was not packed on am Easter Sunday. Wanted to order more but did not have the appetite.Service is ok and the food I ordered was above average.

The cook must have moved. One of my favorite place was pretty dead on the day we came and usually they were busy. I should have picked up on that and gone to a different restaurant.Ordered some dim sum. They were eatable but definitely not top notch quality and flavor. I will stay away until I hear good news about this place.

Outside looks dated, inside is clean and well maintained. The service was fast and dim sum was delicious. Ordered Pork & shrimp shui mai, Sticky rice in lotus wrap, Five spice taro dumpling, Pan fried radish cake, Deep fried shrimp dumpling, Pan fried shrimp bun with chives, and Malaysia sponge cake.

Food is always so good. Service is just slow. We love the fried rice baked in cream sauce with seafood. The cold ginger chicken is yummy too. Hong Kong French toast is a MUST!

this was our first time there. The food was excellent and the service was great.

Good spot for dim sum. During covid, everything is made to order, which is nice. Service is fast. Interior is OK. Harbor City is still my favorite, but purple dot is a classic. Homestyle dimsum is my other favorite.

First time I've eaten here. .I took my daughter here for her birthday. It was tasty and clean. She loved it. They had a full large food menu and a small dim sum menu. Perfect for us.

Was served raw pork and shrimp dumplings! My boyfriend ate a pork dumpling and made a questionable face, I tore open the dumpling to see the completely raw pork! I checked the other we ordered which were raw shrimp dumplings and a cold additional dumpling that had a pre-cooked mix inside. The service was bad, considering there were very few tables. The server took the dumplings to “cook them longer” and did not return to say anything to us. After 15 minutes we went to pay our bill at the front and the man seemed annoyed when I told him of the raw dumplings, which luckily he did remove from the bill. Very poor experience. Luckily my boyfriend has a stomach of steel apparently!*see photo of my boyfriend grabbing said pork dumpling lol
