Bottom Line Up FrontPure Food Fish is good if everything goes as planned. If NOT, they blame the airline unpressured cab for vacuum bag rupture.The only reason I am writing this negative review is the Pure Food Fish guy hung up on me. I purchased $795. of fish from them, including Copper River Salmon, Scallops, and smoked salmon. $550. was the Copper River, remaining cost was scallops, and smoked salmon, and the $65 for shipping.After arrival, and later examination I found the smoked salmon package had lost vacuum and bag was full of ice crystals. The rest of the packages remained sealed and looked fine, meaning $685 was good- just the smoked package $45 was compromised.I called Pure Foods about the smoked salmon and they told me it was ok to eat. I said ok, however I was planning to give the smoked salmon as a gift and told them it wasn't presentable.The guy kept talking over me, telling me he knew fish and the salmon was ok to eat.. And then reminded me it would cost $65 to ship for a $45 package. He finally told me he would ship it, however continued a intense mico burst of short quips of the fish was ok.. and it was ridiculous- the fish was good - discounted the appears and even mocked the appearance vs. gift.He interrupted in mid sentence telling me he know fish and hung up.
Had an unexpected long layover in Seattle and stopped here to buy fish to bring back home to Fl. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I picked out what I wanted and they packed it in a box I was able the check on the plane. I ate some of the copper river King salmon today and it was amazing!!
March 31, 2022This was my first experience with Pure Food Fish Market. I’m on the east coast of Florida and the 3 times I called to inquire about ordering their Red King Crab Leg and Giant Shrimp Scampi, each time the guys were very Professional, Knowledgeable, and Polite. When I finally ordered, Issac was So Nice to Refund me 15% of my Order amount, since it wouldn’t let me do it Online for my First Order. I placed my Order about 1pm on Thursday afternoon and received my Order Friday morning about 10 am. I was SUPER Impressed with how fast my delivery got to me from the west coast of Seattle, WA. I was also Sooooo Impressed with my Jumbo Red King Crab Legs and those very HUGH JUMBO SHRIMPS. I usually can eat about 8/9 Blue crabs in one setting and come back for the rest a few hours later. But with these Crabs and Shrimps, each of the 3 of us were Only able to eat ONE crab leg and THREE shrimps. We are Seafood Eaters here on the east coast of Florida (Jax), and we were Sooooo Pleased and Satisfied !!! Thanks so much Issac and your great guys for an AMAZING and EXCELLENT experience that I had doing business with you all !!! I will HIGHLY recommend Pure Food Fish Market to all of my friends here in Florida.Job Well Done Guys !!!
Even though some (not everything) products and delivery are good, customer service and stock management requires a lot of attention before getting to even one star.Lots of irrelevant statements in responses (thanks for responding at all).Charge immediately when clicked submit order but takes a lot of time and emails to simply refund the amount for missed items.Accept order than call days after requested delivery day to inform that some items are out of stock - how so, you charged already for it can you just keep it for the order you took money for?Best I think to buy in person never online anymore.

Stopped by here during our walk within the Market and was such a great experience! The gentleman working there greeted us right away, gave us a smoked king salmon sample, and was very informative. He answered any questions we had and gave us good tips on cooking the smoked king salmon. Would definitely buy from here again!
Can't believe this place been in business since 1911, that's 110 years ago.Hugh fresh selections of regional seafoods. They have lobster tails that's as big as my hand and Jumbo sea scallops.They claim to ship smoked salmon & fresh seafood anywhere in the world.Not sure I can afford the shipping cost ;-)
We order from these guys 2 to 3 times per year. Wild caught king salmon and sole. Always great. The sole makes the best fish sandwich ever. We were in Seattle and bought from them 2 weeks ago and they packaged our order for the plane. Easy to get through TSA.
