Great place with delicious, sustainably sourced food - cloth napkins, super good service, includes several vegan and vegetarian choices. Delightful location, indoor and outdoor seating. Indoors can be noisy but otherwise everything is superb.

Given there are several locations, we expected to have the same ingredients in their Fruit Bar and there are not the same, so we would expect a homogeneous offering.

Great food and service but terrible ambiance in the mid-dining room. I felt like I was eating in a kitchen -- and perhaps I was but not where I wanted to have breakfast with friends. The noise level was really bad and the loud clanking of dishes by staff was unsettling. This can be easy fixed if the staff was conscious of how they placed dirty dishes into the dirty dish bin.
One of our favorite places. Food was excellent as usual. Our table was on the patio in the corner. Recommend a different spotâit was close to the cooler unit. There was a âbreezeâ blowing in us and we were chilly. Not near a heater. It was excellent over all though!
We always enjoy Portage Bay Cafe. It's a place we frequent, we know the food is consistently good and enjoy the seasonal specials.
Very busy. I expected this. Had to wait about half an hour past my reservation time. Friends Eggs Benedict was lacking much hollandaise and the muffin was hard and cold. Service was excellent. Very attentive.
I've come to this restaurant for more than fifteen years. It is great for reasonably large groups of people. The only concern is that it can get a little loud.
Very very loud, couple people were just screaming, the coffee was definitely the worst thing, but the dishes were so good except the French toast. Iâve gotten it before and it was amazing but it was burnt I only got to eat the center of it.
Great food, wonderful staff! Would definitely return.
