It is a bar, so I went in with the proper expectation of service and food quality. What I did not expect was that the menu they have online (the basis for our decision to visit) was not at all what was available once we arrived. The rude bartender essentially chastised us when we went up to the bar to order the items on the online menu - no menus were offered when we indicated we were ordering, and she did not tell us that the only items available were posted on a board in the back of the bar. Food quality was cold, tasteless, and serve without any utensils. Overall, it was a very disappointing night out.

Nice bar with a great kitchen. Bartenders interject conversations with their opinions and are extremely quick to cut people off, or just not serve them in general. With proper service this would be a three to four star, with the entitled servers/bartenders it’s earned a 1 at best.

The Pine is a legendary 'Dive bar' in Northgate. This area is surrounded by so many wonderful bars in the adjacent neighborhoods and those are all fun too...However my adventures always seem to begin and end at this wonderful place I happily call a home away from home. The bar staff is kind and personable, Elly, Evan & Taylor are standouts, clearly the best bartending team in North Seattle! You know you'll always be greeted with a smile and a good drink.Patrons here are relaxed, lots of local retired folks. Feel like that contributes to a very comfortable and relaxed vibe to bask in. Lots of jokes and banter to be enjoyed.Weekly trivia and karaoke nights to spice things up.The kitchen is always staffed with great cooks, the menu might be a bit limited these days (breakfast is only weekend mornings now) but the food is always made with love and has that pub / greasy spoon aesthetic that you want in a place like this.If you've ever skipped on this bar - think twice and come back. It's a magical place.

Best dive bar with beautiful people and energy and great staff the bartender female who is tall is amazing and the Hispanic male who works very hard is great as well love them both so worth the time

We go to the Pinehurst pub infrequently, but usually to meet up with friends or to watch sports on TV. Always have a good time there staff is always very nice. This time we did have their nachos, and they were really quite good. I'm sorry I didn't take the picture.

Nice little sports pub with two pool table. Good place for a relaxing night drinking. Fish and chips were great too

This is an older bar that just had a paint job on the outside but it's still a fun dive bar on the inside. It could use some serious TLC. I was here before... about 35 years ago!:-) and it was the same interior then. Some new chairs tables would be helpful. Their "outdoor seating" isn't quite as glamorous as it may sound but I digress. I only went that far from my place in Edmonds bc my friend Wes Williams of CHIEF ENTERTAINMENT has his KARAOKE gig there on Tuesday nights. The internet is a good way to see & hear some awesome singers. But there is something to be said about going to a lil hole in the wall bar to sing alil KARAOKE when some unassuming, wallflower (that doesn't 'appear' like they would even wanna stand up in front of people much less could carry a tune in a bucket) grabs the microphone and sings so beautifully, it can bring you to tears or makes you Jump, Shout & Holler! THAT'S what KARAOKE is all about!

Good food, local vibes. Staff here are friendly

Great local dive bar with a few taps on hand (mix of domestic and local). The staff here are great and the kitchen serves quality bar staples. Karaoke on Tuesdays and Trivia on Thursdays.
