If you go, depending on the time be prepared to stand in line. It goes fast, but there's not much seating. The chowder? Second to none. It's so, so good. I got the scallop chowder and hubby got the salmon chowder. We got a large (not on a bread bowl) and we are glad we did. If you order the bread bowl, know that it equals about a medium size for a higher price. Our bowls came with oyster crackers and a delicious slice of bread.
This is a must go-to place if you find yourself in Seattle and especially Pike Place Market. The market was so much cleaner than just a few months ago and I found it relaxing, even thought Pike Place Chowder always seems to have a line, about 10-15 minutes. The wait is well worth it. I had the classic chowder in a sourdough bowl, which I highly recommend. My brother had smoked salmon chowder and he said it was amazing. The could next to us had the sampler which is four 6-ounce bowls covering each type of chowder they have, I am definitely getting this next time! You have to check this place out.
I do recommend this place. I have to say I was very unsure about this place but I have to say I've lived up to the hype.If you don't want to wait 30 plus minutes you can also order online and pick it up at the window by the alley next to the restaurant. If you're lucky enough you might find a seat to endure your chowder right there. It comes with a package of crackers and two slices of sourdough bread that are really good.Price 5)5Place 4/5Service 4/5We got 2 cups for a total of $14
The best clam chowder I’ve tried to date!We had got the sampler with 4 different styles, the Connecticut and Maine lobster rolls and the New England clam chowder!Had such a good time and tore this meal up!The clam chowder was phenomenal! My first time eating a lobster roll also a really good option. Everyone was blown away by the chowders and rightfully so. Just flavor packed really was the cherry on top of the trip.Place is packed had to wait a bit…get a snack to enjoy in the meantime that’s what I did? from piroshky piroshky. ❤️

We enjoyed the Coconut Lime and Seafood Chowder! It was delicious! Quick and friendly service! Definitely earned all their awards!
My husband and I really enjoyed Pike Place Chowder. There was a bit of a line, but it moved quickly and we were able to get a seat once we got our food. We had the original new england chowder and the crab & oyster chowder. Both were delicious and I highly recommend them.
05/08/2022 The Maine lobster in the roll was cold ($34.95 whole, was $29.95 three weeks ago!! That was 17% raise!), no favor except salty, the roll in whole was small ; the New England clam chowder soup was OK but not impressive not too much clams(16oz large $12.95). Long line limited seating, overpriced lobster roll! Would not recommend. $52.5 was good for one person only, way too expensive! Go to Duke for better chowder better environment better price.
the clam chowder is delicious, we ordered two flavours the original and the crab & oysters chowder its so good high recommended to visit the place you will definitely love it .
The best clam chowder ever! You have to get some during your visit. Ask for the sourdough bread bowl. You won’t be disappointed! Staff was friendly and very helpful despite being super busy.
