The food was good except for my meal. I ordered short ribs that were very tough and chewy. I was very disappointed

The server tossed our food after we asked them to box the leftovers. I made a reservation to sit outside with my elders and asked if they could accommodate us with a table with more shadeâ¦had to argue for that.

We hadn't been to Piatti since COVID started and were looking forward to it. It was a real disappointment, mostly because the food was average at best. My prawns and spaghetti tasted fishy and shrimp aren't supposed to taste fishy! The whole dish was pretty unappetizing. My husband's raviolis were not very good either. Our friend liked the rigatoni with Bolognese sauce, so that was a plus but 2-3 of our entrees were not good. The Brussel sprout appetizer was also pretty blah. On the plus side, the wait staff was good and responsive and the ambience was nice.
