One of the best Pho I have tried in Seattle, with big portion and a decent price. I ordered fries, spring rolls, and a short rib pho. For the fries, it is crispy, the sauce that goes with it is very flavorful. The spring rolls are full of stuffings, the sauce for you to dip in is not only special but with great taste. As for the main dish, the short rib pho, it is one of the best thing I had. The ribs are gigantic, the meat are tender and easy to chew. The broth also has a great taste to it, the noodles are cooked just right. There are hot sauce and oyster sauce on the side if people want to add them to their pho. The portion for the pho is so big that as a college student and just played tennis before going, can barely finish it, my other friends didn’t end up finishing them.I would recommend people to try it out for sure, just get the short rib if it’s your first time!
Had to come here for the spectacle of their short rib pho but the real star was their amazing broth. It was perfectly rich and flavorful, far better than any other pho shop I've been to in Seattle. The short rib meat was good but I had to deal with a lot of small bones fragments. So I'd say skip it and just get one of the other meat options. They also had some awesome cocktails as well as a fun rye shot that you chase with pho broth. On the table they include Sriracha, hoisin, sambal, and this crazy spicy but delicious chili sauce (if you know what it's called please let me know!)Very limited parking lot but there's decent street parking about a block away. Went here on a Sunday night and there was plenty of seating, no wait, and quick service.
Today I was taken back to that day my brother-in-law brought me to eat Phó for the first time. I am reminded of why I love Vietnamese food, especially Phó. If you want to enjoy great food and a nice atmosphere than Pho Bac is the place to go. I can’t wait to bring my wife and son here next time they are in town. Thank you Ms. T, for recommending this place it was worth the drive.
While in Seattle visiting family we stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening. The place was busy and we had about a 15 minute wait. The initial service was good, but lacked any follow ups. The lack of any follow up is y only complaint. We all got the short rib pho which was delicious.
The restaurant space is very open and bright. We were seated quickly, and they took our order promptly. A server also offered refills before we had quite run out.The flavors of the food were well-developed, and we enjoyed everything. The pho fries were out for the night (by 5 PM on a Thursday), but everything we did manage to get tasted great and seemed quite fresh!
BEST PHO I HAVE EVER HAD!! I have had pho from a lot of different places and experienced a lot of different kinds. I have traveled to Vietnam and this tops everything in my memory. From the service to the general vibe there it could not be topped. WHEN you make the pilgrimage to this fine establishment make sure to order the Vietnamese coffee to start with. I want to end this review with another thank you to the restaurant - highest review to date.
I saw this place on Seattle Refined and immediately gave it a try. The pho is delicious, and the service is excellent. However, on my last order, I found some disgusting chew-up food mixed with my Pho mix veggies and meat. It wasn't perfect, to say the list. I called the shop right away and asked to speak to the manager or owner. I was told that they were not it. I asked for their email and sent them a picture of the strange items on my food. They never replied to my email, nor did they call. They are giving me no chance but to post a review here. I will never eat there again because I am worried. However, they must pay attention to what is served and not mix old chewed food with new orders. I feel they recycle the sides that customers don't use and reuse them with new customers.
Every time I’m at this place I get great service and great food. I usually get the fatty brisket but today I tried the short rib, I was intimidated by the portion but work my way deliciously thru it. I was a bit hungry so I also order the twice fried wings and the spring rolls, everything was delish. This place always has customers and sometimes a waiting list which is worth waiting for. (Jackson) once your inside service is fast. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. ♥️ Phobac
I thought this was worth the drive down to Seattle for some of the best pho in Seattle. This replaced the other Pho Bac shop in the same small parking lot off Boren. Come early to get a spot or else you may be parking across the street if you come later. We came for an early lunch. The chicken wings are definitely something you need to try and share with the other people at your table as these are some of the tastiest wings I have had at a Vietnamese restaurant. I opted to try the short rib pho. Honestly this was so big it’s worth sharing with someone. 3 large pieces with a big bowl of noodles and hot soup. The broth is pretty yummy as I savored every slurp on the cold day. Overall I would definitely go back and try this place out. I would try the dry pho next time or share the short rib pho.
Seriously, Pho Bac's beef rib pho is to die for!The ribs are huge and have a lot of meat on them, the texture is mostly tender with a little chewiness. It's definitely a feast for meat lovers. The pho soup is also tasty. Service was fast, friendly, and no-frills. I had a blast. My bar was raised high when my friends recommended this place to me and Pho Bac still managed to exceed my expectation. I look forward to coming back and trying something else!
