Absolutely awesome little place, tends to be pretty packed. Firstly the service is exceptional, and the food is absolutely amazing! In my personal opinion I was not a huge fan of the beers that I tried, but I'm not an IPA fan personally, so I suggest giving them a try and deciding for yourself. In particular I do recommend the crispy pork belly bahn mi. It was truly fantastic! Also, the atmosphere at this place is really quite awesome as well. Even with not being a huge fan of the beer, I still give this place five stars given the food the service and the ambience.
I follow a lot of “best of” lists, and I’m astonished that I didn’t see Perihelion in Thrillist or Time Out!I had a Swedish glogg and gnocchi, and both were fantastic. Perihelion puts extra effort into crafting unique recipes. A waiter told us that the owners traveled around Europe, and I can tell that they brought some European inspiration back with them.Perihelion is spacious with indoor and outdoor seating, and fire pits outside. The ambiance is cozy and beautifully decorated. They even have a stack of board and card games. It’s a great place to visit whether you want to work at your laptop, read, or visit with friends. The restaurant is directly across the street from the Beacon Hill station, so it’s super convenient to access.
The mole nachos and brisket sandwich were amazing. The brisket just absolutely fell apart and was super juicy. The only bad thing about it is that it's pretty hard to eat with juice going everywhere haha but it was worth it.
Showed up with a group of 8 hungry Ultimate Frisbee players after a game and the hostess, Renee, went out of her way to make things work - even when they were busy and didn’t have a table for us. Initially, she suggested we order from the to-go window (to make sure we got food before the kitchen closed) and even helped to set up a spot on the grass for us with chairs and a bench. Then, a table with a fire opened up and the transition to that space with her and the other staff went very smoothly. Food was great; atmosphere was inviting; service was exceptional. Will be back again!
The food, a Pork Belly Banh Mi and Bleu Cheese Truffle tasted well. The beer wasn't that cold, condiment bottles and menu holder weren't clean and haven't been clean for a while. So there was a turn off. Food was good.
Happened to be in the area on a weekend and went here to grab a quick drink. The place was mostly full and it was hard to find a parking spot. Nice ambience overall- they have both indoor and outdoor seating with fire pits to keep you warm on a chilly night. I found the food here to be amazingly fresh and delicious! They have a good variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.
Nowadays, eating out as one of the over-60 set, I often feel invisible and treated with disregard. Not so at this neighborhood spot where it seemed, from my vantage point, to be a welcoming place for all. Filled with folk of diverse ages and stripes, everyone enjoying the company of friends and/or family, I felt right at home. Our waitperson was pleasant and patient, not rushing us even though we were just sipping beverages, so much so that once we finished a round, we stayed for the amazing hamburgers and sweet potato fries. The delicious food will entice me in, and the warm customer service keep me coming back for more. Thank you, Perihelion.
Amazing restaurant! I had the brisket sandwich and the beer boiled clams. Brisket was very good, sauce was sweet if you like a sweet BBQ sauce. The clams were the real hero though, garlic butter and lemon in an amazing broth.
Absolutely awesome place , staff is friendly and fast, drinks and food is bomb,I'm definitely returning and will be inviting friends and family to join me.
Wow, is this place great! Fantastic food, great service and nice atmosphere. I liked it so well went three nights in a row with with other people who also felt the same. The hamburger, mac and cheese and barbeque brisket sandwich I tried were all fantastic! Beer and deserts are also first rate. Will be back next time I am in Seattle.
