Been looking for a go-to sandy shop in Seattle for a while. Tried some others and they were good, but it’s tough to spend $15 on a sandy unless it earns it (just makes more sense to make em yourself at that point, to me). That being said- the Paseo #2 earned it. Holy smokes. I love Cuban Sandy’s, and this might be the best one I’ve had (I don’t claim pro critique status). Great portions, awesome pork and ham, superb condiments all served on slammin bread. I took a pic after eating most of it and it was a bit of an injustice so no photo. Great service too. I got my spot now
Great sandwiches.Steet parking difficult to find.Cozy neighborhood feel. Cafe nearby.Small space inside casual interior. Some outside seats. W lights and decorated a bit. Cute style. The bathroom is small and only one shared. The food was good ? tables sticky tho. Good to go place but not the best sit down joint. The hot sauce is actually suuuper hot and I like hot sauce. Just FYI. Good sauce ?
We checked out reviews that said this was a good sandwich shop to try. The pulled pork sandwich is popular so we tried that. Lots of filling but the pork was dry.
Amazing sandwiches!! They support Veterans, very friendly staff. The ingredients are fresh, bread and meat are spectacular ?. One of the BEST sandwiches I've ever had. Highly recommended! Definitely a lifetime customer now.
Their Jambalaya is just okay. We got 4/5 spicy but it was very mild. Also the portion was very small.
Bread with a crispy outer crust and a burst of flavor in the expertly cooked meat. Legendary sandwich!
Got a #2 Paseo Press. It was really good, plenty of onions, pork, and other fillings. They cut it in half for you but be prepared with plenty of napkins. It was a really oily sandwich; but man, the Caribbean food was really good. The wait was kinda long though as there were also plenty of other customers before me. So be prepared to wait as well. There is dine in but there were about 5-6 tables.3 stars comes from the cashier being extremely crass. Tried using a groupon that was bought the same day when I went but the cashier said that it was expired and that I was trying to deceive them or something. Which makes no sense since it was bought during the same day, but anyways I received a gift card after using the online coupon voucher. Parking was a tad difficult as there’s only street parking and it’s on a relatively busy street.
I'm digging around trying to find all the goodies in jambalaya.. for the hefty charge of $18+tax+tip... this was sad to say disappointing. There was about 5 pieces of meat overall. You charge the fees I pay with ease and I feel bamboozled. :-/
The food - mostly Cuban-style sandwiches - is consistently good and the staff is friendlier than they used to be.
Something is off about Paseo lately. Have thr flavors changed? Either way not a terrible menu or flavor but not the vivid and crisp flavors I remember. Probably won't go back again but still reminisce about the menu I remember.
