Gumbo was well spiced but light on the sausage and chicken, and served lukewarm. Mac & cheese had good flavor but once again lukewarm. BBQ shrimp was the best dish we tried. Music system competed with the excellent busker playing jazz in the nearby pavilion. Service was prompt but perfunctory.
I had 5pm reservations for two but was early and asked if I could be seated. Had a choice between the back or front outdoor seating. I hadnât sat in the back so opted for that the y were great at helping select a nice shady spot. The back is was a mice change less eye level foot traffic walking by. Parish NW is one of my neighborhood go to. Always delivers great food and service. Some wonderful cocktails that rotate with the season. I had the Black co came with mashed parsnips, watermelon piperade, pickled watermelon rind and sea beans. Fish was perfectly cooked with crispy skin. The sauces were perfect accompaniment to the fish even took some bread and wiped up some of the extra sauce. Had the QUEENâS GAMBIT cocktail, lemon vodka, strawberry shrub, demerara, lemon juice, soda. Really enjoyed the tartness of this drink so refreshing. My friend had the Cajun mox plate with shrimp and a rose. Service is always attentive without getting in the waynpf conversation. Definitely will be back.
What a delicious restaurant and incredibly friendly staff. Highly recommend!!
Really good food in a nice outdoor venue. Staff was very supportive for reservation changes.
Food was mediocre and over priced. Po boy was disappointing. Fried chicken on the Parish Plate was tasty but the rice was dry and the beans/greens forgettable.
They are way better than the NoLo place on lower Queen Anne. Etoufee is amazing. Barbecue Shrimp - amazing. Bread with ??? Whatever the butter was - amazing. Staying cool on a perfect summer evening at an outdoor table - ⦠you get the picture.
Had a great 30th birthday celebration at Parish NW. Our server was nice and treated us for a happy birthday.
We have been 3 times and have never had anything that we didnât like. The ètoufee is really good!
Food was amazing although the fried chicken was not available as a Full dish, but was enough for a poâboy. Delicious mac n cheese, and the beignets were finger lickinâ good.
Food was good, but not mind blowing. Red beans and collards were very good, but there was not enough of them. Too much boring rice. Maybe add some dirty rice instead of just a scoop of white rice? Beignets for dessert were quite good. The pecan pie not as much. Catfish bites lacked seasoning, although the mango habanero dip helped. Catfish dinner was much better. Quite enjoyable. Gumbo lacked visible sausage. Hard to tell the difference between the gumbo and the etouffee. Service from the kitchen was slow but we were not in a hurry and enjoyed the ambience and our server was attentive enough. Probably a shade overpriced honestly. Was hoping to be blown away but it wasn’t to be.
