I agree some of the portions are small.. the side of rice was $8.50 for a very small container. I am Trini so I’m basing my review on my heritage. Curry chicken was cooked perfectly! The chicken was seasoned well, it was very spicy and extremely greasy. But I liked the overall flavor. It was weird to have basmati rice with my meal (not normal) but I love basmati rice so I was okay with it. The potato Chana however was gross. It was like the chef ran out of sauce and stretched it with water ?… I appreciate you and applaud you for your business because we don’t have authentic Caribbean food in this city ❤️?.. I’m going to try dine in and give this place another go.
I ordered the pelau and pone. The pelau rice was perfectly cooked, soft yet not sticky/gooey. The flavor is not overstated yet deep. I can't really explain it except it's tastes like jerk seasoning. It's enough for 2 ppl tooThe pone was fantastic, the over cream tastes like coconut and almond (my fave combo) and the pudding (?) bottom part tastes like coconut also but able to stand out from there sweet ice cream too.Simply well done. A bit expensive but so worth
I’ve traveled around the world and had great food experiences but I keep coming back to this gem! Best food in Seattle, hands down! Jerk chicken is to die for!
This restaurant is amazing! The food is so authentic and delicious. Pam is such a sweetheart and makes you feel like family. We are so glad we found this place. We will definitely be back!
Pam's is amazing. Also Pam is amazing. The food is fantastic. The jerk chicken seems to be popular, as it should be, but the curries are also incredible. Make sure to get enough roti to soak of the sauce. Each time I have been in I have been welcomed and treated like family. I can't wait to get in again.
I wanted to check this place out after seeing them on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. We met, Pam, the owner. She was super friendly and even ordered our food for us. Everything was super delicious!! I would highly recommend this place to everybody I know. Great food, cozy atmosphere and super awesome owner!!
Pam’s kitchen is the best Caribbean food Around! So delicious! Pam is such a wonderful host. Highly recommend.
I came all the way from Vancouver because no where i mean no where in the city serves real trini food. Made the extra trip down to pams from the outlets just to have the curry chicken with jerk ribs on the side. Curry tasted exactly like my grannys. The channa was a little hard fyi. The jerk was the star saucy but not runny perfectly peppered didnt need the peppa sauce i would normally put. I cant wait for my next trip down to the us will be here again for sure. Pricey but worth every penny
Got the chicken Roti with buss up shot... Delicious!! I haven't had good food since I've been here for work and this was such a pleasant surprise. Drinks are good and strong too! Ms. Pam was such a sweetheart. I'll definitely be going back for dinner before I leave to go back home.
Visited Pam's 2 weeks ago from Columbus ohio. The food was excellent. Pam and the staff was great????????Definitely visit if you in the Seattle area for Caribbean food Trini styleSee you next summer Pam.....
