The beef is just okay. Corn cheese and japchae are good. Doenjang soup is very salty.
Not an authentic Korean BBQ place.. was missing a lot of staple items! Did not have samjang sauce, instead had a weird Sriracha/spicy chili sauce. Did not have lettuce for free which is crazy ($5), never seen that before. Did not have sesame oil/salt sauce for pork belly. Had to barbecue ourselves, and they didn't change the grill after it got very charred and burnt. They were short staffed at the time, but if I'm gonna pay $50 for kbbq, I feel like this should be included or they should at least try to help us grill our meat a little.
I feel it is a fake Korean food. The meat quality is so bad. It is better to buy fresh meat in supermarket.banchans , korean side dishes are terrible.I am definitely sure this restaurant is not real Korean food. I am upset.
the services is good. The meat are not marinated enough, there is no salt or peppers on the table or on the meat. everything tasteless even with sauces, fires too hot and no way to control it. I was afraid oven or the grill is gonna exploded some point. Side dish is ok. Least use some butter to hot the grill? Truest me that will taste better after than just dipping in sauces.
*THIS PLACE IS CASH-ONLY* I was a little bit disappointed with my visit here, but there is a lot to love. My friend and I split the small pork combo, and it came with everything pictured. Upsettingly, we paid an extra $5 for lettuce and it seems we got two pieces of lettuce with a slice of onion, mushroom, and sweet potato on each leaf. I was upset we spent $5 on that, especially because the lettuce was touching the raw meat. I'm unsure if they expect customers to grill the lettuce or what. The meat was good and the meal was filling, but nothing stood out to me as particularly delicious, and the prices were high. I don't think I'll come back, but that doesn't mean other people shouldn't give it a try! The small combo fed my party of two, but it could probably feed 3 people well (we were so full!).
quite literally the worst kbbq experience i've ever had. extremely overpriced ($100+ after tip) for two small cuts of bland meat, salty soup, bland side dishes, and mid service. upside, the place is decorated nicely but it seems the servers don't care. i personally don't mind cooking by myself however usually kbbq servers would support in cooking meat in case it's a customer's first time or to avoid any injuries. they set down the food and left, never checking in until we called for the check- just something to keep in mind.you only get a choice of one side dish that isn't part of the usual banchan, i've never been to a place that's done this. we chose the soybean soup and for the price/taste just not worth it at all. the limit of one side dish also isn't very intuitive in the menu.
Worst korean bbq place ever. Food is not good quality. Seasoned beef is not seasoned at all. Tofu soup is for sure watered and has no taste. Grill is very rarely changed and service is mediocre. On top of everything low quality, they charged premium price. More than 100) for two people. For sure a scam for students at UW. Would never go again and would not recommend.
I typically don’t leave negative reviews but we were just really disappointed with our experience! The waitress was so rude - it almost seemed like she didn’t want us to be there in the first place! We wanted to go here for dinner tonight & asked to be seated one table away from where the waitress has pointed us toseat. There was only 1 party in the WHOLE restaurant and she was adamant that we had to sit exactly where she pointed out of all the other tables that were open. She said “when other customers arrive, you’re going to have to sit next to someone anyways so just sit there” I asked again and said, “I’d feel more comfortable there - is that okay?” At least until other customers arrive? She said “no” and was pretty aggressive with her explanation of how we would be surrounded by customers anyways so we left and took our business somewhere else. I know everyone has bad days but her tone and attitude really affected how we view this restaurant.Seeing the other reviews - I guess I’m not the only one!Maybe that’s why it was empty on a Friday night? On our way back from our other dinner it was still empty with one table ?
Horrible service. The waitress is ridiculously rude when we asked her about how the combo meals works. She is very impatient and make very rude jokes of us for not being able to understand the menu within 10 seconds. RIDICULOUS.
Horrible customer service -came in and at 8 o'clock we were turned away at the door because they said that they were closed although their open sign was bright and flashing... they were actually in the processof serving someone....their door was also open and Their hours on Google and their door are obviously unreliable which- The restaurant also has the ability to change but choose not to just to confuse potential customers. Just because they want to bait and switch with their hours of availability- I will be bate and switch with my money. I will not patronize any business that does not respect their customers time, especially after driving 45 minutes to get to them and then they have the audacity to just say we are close with no explanation. No apology or anything.. Rude and shady business practices. Go to better Kbbq places elsewhere.
