We’ve lived about 10 minutes (on foot) away from Ounces for four years. These folks are amazing. Snowmageddon?! They’re open. Hailstorm? They’re open. Summer nights, absolutely open.I’m a picky beer drinker, I stick to true sours and usually indulge in their dry ciders as a replacement. We came in, I asked for a recommendation based on my palate and the bartender was wonderfully honest and said that there wasn’t a sour or alternative on the menu in the cider section. I ended up with a delightful Hefeweizen and will always appreciate their honesty and accommodation.
Ounces is my favorite taproom in Seattle. They always have a great rotation of beers, a wonderful covered patio and the rotation of food trucks is always top notch. The best part of Ounces though is the staff. Whether you are a regular or it’s your first time coming in, they are some of the most genuinely friendly, accommodating and nice people you will meet. Always happy to give a recommendation and answer any questions that come up. This is a true gem of a neighborhood business that I feel fortunate I’ve found early on.
Ounces is a gem that is not to be missed in West Seattle. They are kid and dog friendly and the welcoming, family friendly vibe and excellent beer selection can't be beat. Their staff are courteous and knowledgeable about the 30+ beers they have on tap. Their covered patio is great year round, as it is heated in the winter and open and sunny in the summer. To top it off, they bring in rotating food trucks almost daily!
Best taproom in Seattle. No contest. The selection is on point- including wine/seltzer/cider/kombucha(!!!), the space is rad, clean, and inviting, the food trucks are a hit but you can also bring your own food, and it’s all kid and dog friendly! What more could you ask for?!As a long time Ounces customer, I can say the owners are amazing. Not only are they friendly, kind, and creative as hell but from its inception, Ounces has been about being a welcoming, inclusive space. It’s still one of my most favorite places to spend time.
One of my favorite things about where I live is having Ounces just a quick walk away! Always great beer, always great people, and I am always treated like a friend not just some customer. Wonderful taproom, and whenever we can make it on Tuesdays for the Trivia they host, it’s always a highlight of our week! A great atmosphere of neighbors that get together, and jokes we can all laugh together with over beers.
This has been my favorite spot for years! The beer is excellent, great variety at all times. The owners are the kindest people and went out of their way to help me set up a perfect proposal awhile back. The employees are always courteous and the place has amazing service. Hard to find a place that beats the setup outdoor too, with a rotation of food trucks, fire pits, and heated enclosed area.
Love this place!! And it’s obvious the owners and employees do too. They do so much to make this more than just a beer spot. So many events, new beers constantly, and great food trucks, etc. Also it’s very kid and dog friendly! Always a top choice of ours when we wanna get out of the house.
My wife and I have come here for years. Always amazing staff and great place to socialize. They rotate the drinks on tap regularly and have nothing but the best local breweries! Highly recommend this place. And Travis does an excellent job and I am glad Ounces has him there!
Great place to grab a bite to eat (the food trucks are great) and a very easy place to hang out with friends for trivia, book club, or to celebrate. The beer is delicious regardless of which you order and the staff is kind. I love the outdoor seating options and being able to bring a dog.
Fresh beer from Washington’s best small and independent breweries in one place with great indoor/outdoor spaces, owned and operated by a local West Seattle family. This place is a gem, to put it mildly.
