A eclectic restaurant is a gem in Seattle. They have food from all over the world and even some wacky Thai Water Beetles! Not for me but my friends have them a try and stated they were simply salty. The cocktails weren’t that great: the food the strong-suite of this place in my opinion. I couldn’t really taste the lime or star anise in my drink, it was just like spiked pineapple juice. The Cambodian curry was REALLY tasty and the proportions were big. I was barely able to finish my bowl. The ambience of the restaurant is quirky and the servers are really nice. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you have a small group of people as you’ll get to try a bunch of different cuisines!
It is a great place. The atmosphere is informal and dishes from several countries are featured on the menu. Their chicken wings are legendary. I had the piri piri chicken sandwich and it was superb. My friend had the chicken and waffles (not crisp). Great restaurant for a quick lunch. Servers are efficient and friendly, which makes for a very relaxed time.
If you are looking for the most eclectic and worldly menu in Seattle, you have found it :) the food was absolutely delicious. docking a star due to essentially eating all of our food and THEN getting our cocktails but we went at a very busy dinner hour. If you are in the area, definitely check this place out with your foodie friends.
Had a nice and casual dinner here.Staff were super friendly and it is really quirky and interesting inside.Too scared to try the bug on the menu but I wish you the best of luck!We had the chicken wings, Coconut cornbread and the bunny chow. All three were great especially the cornbread and chicken wings!
This place is f-ed up and racist. I had a vaccination card but they would not let me dine. The only place in Seattle that doesn’t accept my vaccination card during my trip here hmm …
Do not recommend. It may have been an off day, but service was one of the worst I’ve had. Long wait times to get in and to get waters. We ordered the chicken & waffles which turned out to be just hellishly spicy wings (all wings, no breast or thigh) and the soggiest waffles. It’s so clear when a restaurant costs a dish low ($7) to make a large markup. At $20, I can go to a Safeway and buy ingredients to make the same dish for $8.To top it off, bottomless coffee was no saving grace. The waitress did not even ask how our food was when she saw I returned the plate with just one bite. Even an honest apology could go as far.Sadly, based on all of that, not only do I wish I could give them 0/5 stars, but I will likely never come back.
If you’re missing your wanderlust itch scratched due to the pandemic, look no further than Nue. I tried the McNguyen (Irish Vietnamese Whiskey), the Kat Chai, the pineapple cornbread, hummus, the Jumbo Wings, and the Spareribs. Everything was well spiced with the ability to transport you to the inspiring country.I was only disappointed by the sweetness of the spareribs. It felt like Nue was catering to Americans with the ribs’ flavoring, and the sweetness really didn’t balance well the other flavors in the dish.I will be returning to enjoy the new menu items when they come.
My GF and I found NUE by chance when we were looking for last minute valentine's reservations. Little did I know I would end up getting ENGAGED by the end of the night. The wait staff was so lovely and supportive, they filmed our engagement and wrote us out a little card. The food was incredible also. Will definitely be goin back soon!
Great place! Went back home to visit for thanksgiving this past year, and was so grateful of how convenient it was to make reservations (through Yelp). You absolutely have to have their fried rice. I am Filipino myself, and their fried rice is amazing. I do wish the gluten free coconut bread was larger, but it was delicious and I would’ve ordered more. Next time I am back, I hope they can add more vegetarian or even pescatarian options to their menu, because I want to eat a lot more of their food. Even my baby sister who is 13 and very picky, enjoyed the Filipino breakfast platter. If you order anything from this place, make sure you at least try a side of the garlic fried rice! Overall lovely place with a unique international theme.
Pretty good food! The South Africa sunny bunny tastes great, but it may get a little bit salty after you eat half dish. The tower of chengdu wings is also great and pretty authentic!
