Without a doubt the best sushi in Seattle, and has been for 25 years. Fresh, comforting, and innovative - without being ridiculous. Most importantly, DELICIOUS... The Nishino family takes pride and care and it shows.
Have been a regular at this place for 4 years now. Favorite time to visit is during fall where they have the Matsutake Dobin Mushi soup (mushroom soup in seafood broth). Banana tempura ice-cream and hamachi jalapeño are also great.
Really top quality sushi and great atmosphere. The staff was on top of every detail. Loved the dining experience.
Incredible birthday dinner.
Wow! That was truly the BEST meal of my life, and such a special dining experience made perfect by the kind wait staff and expert chefs. Hands down the best sushi in Seattle. I’ll be back soon, but not before I tell everyone I know to go there! Thank you for an incredible and unforgettable meal, Nishino family!
Good food but overpriced. The food wasn't bad, but I've had better sushi for much less. It also felt somewhat westernized.
Best sushi ever!!
Great sushi, great options. We took take-out, which isnt the best choice for rating and trying sushi, but everything we had was good. There were superstar dishes(hamachi jalapeno, which is in a carpacio format) and an ok dish (tempura soft shell crab). The rest was all very good sushi. Check out the photos. It was expensive, so be aware, but then again it depends on what and how much you order. 440usd in 4, only food.
Nice interior, great service and delicious food.I highly recommend the foie gras on seared tuna and the nasu dengaku. The toro tartare with caviar is good but it doesn't do much for me personally.
Had an early dinner for two. Service was impeccable. The spicy miso soup with clams and mushrooms was worth a return visit by itself. The shrimp dumplings were delightfully spiced. Add a few pieces of sushi and some tempura for a wonderful meal. This one's a keeper.
