The food was absolutely outstanding, the wine list offered a range of choices and price points, and the service attentive and knowledgeable. I had not been to Nell’s since before the pandemic. They have not lost a step and remains a gem of a restaurant. Bravo!

We continue to attend Nells for its quiet atmosphere, quality meals, engaging outlook to the park across the street.

We enjoyed the food and the excellent service. However our experience was compromised by the below standard ambience for fine dining. Our party of three elected to dine on the patio. We were surprised how rudimentary the decor was compared to the inside seating. The tables without table cloths were worn and stained. The chairs were narrow and uncomfortable ( we are all small people). Perhaps one shouldn’t complain when the sun shines in Seattle, however the angle of the evening sun was directly in our eyes. We saw two other table having to adjust their seating to be more comfortable. For the price of the evening, we expected better ambience which is an important part of the dining experience. However, the sweet onion tart and Iberian Port still get 5 stars!

Great service and delicious food

Fabulous food in a quiet atmosphere with nice outdoor dining weather permitting.

Nell's is still the best place for service and ambiance but the food quality and quantity is not what it used to be. It used to be our favorite place to meet friends for dinner but the last couple times we have met friends here we have been disappointed in the food. Last night the watermelon salad small plate was a complete waste of time and money. My fresh halibut was a very small portion and was several minutes overcooked. There used to be plenty of vegetable on the plate with the large plates but the ratatouille that came with my fish was almost non-existent. Even the ice cream was disappointing with a "fresh peach" that had a flavor that was impossible to discern. With entrees over $40, and a bill for four with minimal alcohol of almost $400, I expect more on the plate. Time to find a new favorite.

Artists with meat, vegetables, ice cream and pastry. Such a lovely space: peaceful and pleasant.

Our favorite Seattle restaurant. The food is always amazing, the staff service is professional and friendly, and the noise level is low. The outdoor patio has a great view of Greenlake activities. A seattle gem. Don’t tell anybody!

It’s the best old restaurant you’ve never heard of. Rotating tasting menu. Regular customers. Great staff.

We dine here every year for special occasions. It is always perfect.
