Strange place for a strange city. It's open late, which is cool. Not as ratchet as I expected. The city needs to legalize alcohol sales until 4am. Heck, with all the rampant drug use downtown I'd expect the city to lighten up on alcohol enforcement.
Went there on 4-30 was told cover for 1 was $ 45 . I gave my card no receipt or signature required entered into the club. Next day noticed she charged me $80.If you go to this place be very careful get a receipt for everything they are looking for people to rip, since most people don't pay attention in clubs.

The worst experience I have ever had!!! You will wait in line for one hour and will get accused of having open bottle and won’t get in!? Yeah I call it the worst!!!
The dance floor, sound system and lighting are wonderful. The crowd that comes here is also great.The coat fee is reasonable and there is plenty of free parking near by. The party goes on till 3am.A great place to spend your Friday evening dancing to your hearts content.
I ve been to monkey only once before and i ll definitely be back. In fact i ll be back tomorrow night. One of the better venue options for seattle imo
