Went here for a small birthday gathering in the open upstairs room that looks down on the main part of the restaurant. It was quaint. Loved all the decor. We just has some appetizers. Which were favorable. Only thing was that if you wanted anything besides Tequila, it all had to be ordered and came from the downstairs bar. Other than that I'd say this is a must come again place.
Food, drink, and decor were all solid. What really stood out to me was the staff. Absolutely great service, friendly, and that polished blend of causal professionalism that you so rarely see. I would gladly stop in again.
What a gem! The service by Celia is a delight! She always gives us the yummy recommendations and genuine hospitality that make the experience even better. And the owner is really doing it proper. Love the new outdoor seating! Whether vegan, gluten free or whatever, everyone we've taken here has left with a smile.
Chips were old and tough. We had sweet potato enchiladas with mole, rice and beans. Sometimes less is more when it comes to spices. Could not taste the rice for all of the spices, nor the sweet potato. Food was better when they first opened. In my opinion, like I said, less is more. Service was fantastic as were the Margaritas!
Talk about amazing service. Hailey is the most warm and wonderful individual. I've never had someone check in on us as much as she did, and she anticipated what we needed before we even asked. Her bubbly personality made this a worth while experience and we will be back just to see her. Thank you for your above and beyond care.
We are from out of town and we needed a Mexican place to go to and this was really good the food was good and the drinks were great, service kinda sucked though, the girl hardly checked on us, we felt like we were bothering her just to wave her down so we could maybe get another drink... That's the only thing I would change.
The space is beautiful and the food was delicious. I would also like to add, if you ever want to leave less than 5 stars for a restaurant, instead of airing your opinion all over the internet, you have other options: either talk with someone face to face or just don't come back. If you're the kind of entitled person that thinks their opinion is so important, I'm sure you're not a very fun customer to wait on anyway.
I enjoy this Mexican restaurant and bar in West Seattle. Good food and many options. A well stocked bar with choices. Happy hour is also good. The staff here have always been friendly.
Me & my boyfriend went in yesterday for Valentine’s Day and it was such an amzazing experience! Totally coming back the food & drinks Where great the waiter was so nice and was always making sure we was good ! Definitely coming back
If I could leave zero stars I would. This was my second trip because--I guess due to sheer luck, my first time was a Taco Tuesday and they weren't badSecond trip around though... the food was mediocre at best.I ordered a burrito classico with the ghost pepper cheese on a whim because I was in the mood for something spicier. What I got was something that tasted like the stuff they squirt on "nachos" at a ballgame or a convenient mart, only less spicy.Maybe it was an off night, maybe I'm just spoiled by good Mexican food from southern California but both of us were extremely underwhelmed by the quality of our food. Everything was bland or poorly flavored. From all the talk of "San Diego's Roberto taco shop" on the menu and whatever, I expected something more than the 'catering to the Chipotle crowd' mess that we got.West Seattle is sorely lacking in the Mexican food department. Our best luck has been a food truck down in the Andolyne district. Everything else has been hit-or-miss or just plain bad. Mission Cantina definitely falls under the bad category
