a famous coffee shopthey got temple pastries for croissant and other pastries from macrinabought a cardamom briocheit was super delicious!,!!
The freshly brewed coffees here are great. . . strongly recommend the Guatemalan and Ethiopian light roasts!
Not worth it. My macchiato was nothing to write home about. Milk was frothed fine but the beans were bland. My boyfriend is a cold brew guru and he said his was okay. They’ve also regressed to old COVID rules where only 4 customers are allowed in at once, the bathrooms are not open to the public, and the seating is non existent. If these amenities are gone, the price of my coffee better go down too. On the other hand, if you are still for all these Covid precautions, you will love buying your coffee here.
Went in for the first time and ordered the golden latte, a matcha latte with oat milk, and a cardamom bun which came out to ~$20 with 15% tip.Really wanted to like them as the shop itself is so aesthetic but what I got was not for me. The golden latte was too sweet and just overwhelming that I had a sip and tossed it. Had a bite of the bun which is usually my favorite but I had a bite and tossed it. Matcha latte with oat milk was just okay. Service friendly but the food/drink I tried is not for me.
Espresso quality was slightly better than Starbucks and their macchiato looked more like a mini latte. The pastries were good but maybe a bit on the old side. I’ll stick with Tutta Bella for now
Best espresso I had while hopping around Seattle! Wonderful customer service with engaging baristas. Keep up the great work!
Great coffee, friendly service, and bright store, Milstead & Co. is one of the better coffee shops in this city with a big coffee scene.I didn't connect with it during my first visit, but I get it a little more every time I come back. With gorgeous full wall windows and an airy space, this is not a cold place, but not particularly warm either. Well, maybe it's because of the spacious yet empty space due to COVID. There is a delicate, well calculated and balanced air of serenity and congeniality in the shop. Coffee is excellent here, and I feel that the excellence comes more out of perfection than passion. I still like it a lot, but I probably won't miss it when I leave the city. The location is awesome. Right by Lake Union with plenty of places within walking distance to visit or sit down.
What happened to one of the best seattle coffee shops?!!! ??I ordered an macchiato. The espresso is still solid but the milk is terribly frothed. Big bubbles that give poor texture. I expected milky sweetness that would normally bind to the coffee in harmony. There was none.
Quiet and lovely cafe. I loved their latte!
This place is fabulous. They have a great ever changing selection of interesting drinks. Last time I was here I got a chocolate orange cold brew (the actual name and description was much fancier). Right now it's takeout only, so if you want to sit nearby you'll have to sit on the narrow steps outside. There's an incredible view of the Aurora bridge from underneath here. It's pricey but the staff is super nice, the environment is A+ and the drinks are something special.
