One of the best food takes in Pike Place , we were fortunate to be there once it opened. It was the buns , with choices of sweet and savoury. Never miss this one.

After reading a few reviews that highly recommend stopping at this place — we did. And it was good. TIP: Go next door to Truffle Queen and order some wine to taste. This will allow you to sit at the umbrella shaded tables and send someone over to Mee Sum Pastry to grab you a curry beef hom bow.The sweetness of the bread works really well against the beef curry on the inside of the pastry. So good!Apologies for the half-eaten food photo - I was almost done with the hom bow before thinking of taking a photo.

My favorite was the red bean sesame ball! My husband loved the steamed bbq pork bun. We both returned multiple times! So yummy!

Picked up a BBQ pork hom bow (baked pork bun) for $5.00. It was delicious. There was a short wait in a queue to order, but service was fast. Overall the pork bun was well worth any wait.

Was my first time going and I can’t wait to go back soon! I ordered winter melon and sesame moon cakes. I liked them both but I want to try them without the yolk next time, either way it still tasted great! I also ordered a Chicken hom bow, not my sip of tea but I will try the bbq one next time! The service was great, the had a long line but handled it quickly!

The Hombows at Mee Sum are legendary, period. Definitely try both the Curry Beef and the BBQ Pork if you can. You truly won’t be disappointed. They also have other fun pastries and dumplings you can check out. Beware: Lines are almost always long! Check @AWorldOnMyPlate Instagram for Seattle based content.

We visited Pike Place during weekday and off-holiday season, very pleasant indeed, no queues for several outlets. We tried the BBQ Hom Bow, Mini Moon cake without yolk. All are delicious, especially the BBQ pork hom bow freshly from the oven. Crispy bread with fragrant and juicy pork filling. Mooncake also has flaky skin and not too sweet lotus pas paste.

I tried both the bbq pork bun and the curry beef bun and they were both amazing. If I had to choose one, I'd go with the bbq pprk bun as it is more flavorful. The buns are slightly sweet which is typical of asian buns and it makes it even better for a breakfast bite.

Best place in the market. I went everyday for the 3 days I was in town...twice one day! The baked chicken and beef hom bows are absolutely amazing!

Amazingly tasty, perfect snack for someone roaming the market area. 100% recommend for anyone who likes 粤/广式早点.Nice selection of buns, 芝麻球, dumplings, all the goodies. Recommend the curry bread, sesame balls, and everything else.
