E Madison has numerous other bars that are far superior. This place is amateur and its bartenders make the entire staff look bad.

Our group of 5 arrived on a beautiful Sunday evening and were pleased to be seated outside fairly quickly. All the staff were friendly and pleasant but we wished we were offered a chance to get second beverages. The meals were good - Cubano sandwiches for 2 in our group, burger, salmon sandwich and fish tacos for others. The view of the action in the neighborhood and at Madison Beach on Lake Washington is a definite draw.
Courtney, our server, was amazing! She was very attentive and made sure we always had food going around and drinks. 10/10.

Went for lunch yesterday. Nice food and sit out area, had a great time, weather was great for an outdoor seating. The veggie burger was awesome (without bacon). Hummas was okayish.Must try the donuts. Lava cake was okayish, did not drip or flow like it should.
Brussel sprouts with bacon and the mcgilvras burger are great options, have had both many times and both are consistently delicious
This is a very nice unpretentious spot in the beautiful Madison Park neighborhood. The best part for us that our dog was allowed inside with us! We all enjoyed our dinners. We will definitely return with our doggie.
Yesterday seven friend ate at McGilvra's everyone was very happy with the service and their food. We will be back.
Sub par food that is expensive with mediocre service at best.
