I've been driving by this place for years and never bothered to stop by. That was a mistake! They may not be the biggest or the best hotdogs around but are straight up delicious, and honest. No they aren't your Seattle dogs you can have on a game day in pioneer square, but they aren't $12 either. These are great as a quick snack, one is enough, or two make a meal. Fries are great too. I've only had the Seattle dog and the chili dog so far on my two visits. I'll be trying all of them!
Matt's is one of the best handsdown. Once you eat from here i guarantee you'll come back. They are family oriented with great vibes and quick service. FyI don't forget to grab a punch card when you come in, they make them worth your stop.
The dogs were fantastic, specifically the polish. It is a very small spot but has outdoor seating. Only thing is the chili is more of a paste I wish it had a more chunky texture but overall food was great
Matt's Famous Chili Dog is the only place to get a quality hot dog!! He has been around for over 20 years... If you are a connoisseur of fine hot dogs and sausages you MUST go here!! Also any place that can properly cook shoestring fries has my vote!! This place is a Seattle staple ?

Very clean. Such a delicious burger; I had to get another! Shakes are great too. Great independent burger joint. And Matt was even working behind the counter! Very cool place. Definitely going again.
If you want an affordable lunch in Georgetown this is the place to go! Perfect for a burger for sure. They have crispy french fries that are wonderful! Did I mention the employees are so nice?! This is a place to grab your meal and go or sit outside. I've only ate the hamburger and fries here but they are known for their hot dogs and sausages. People rave about them but I'm not much of a dog eater. I've also used them for catering lunches for my work. When you have 100 grown hard working men Matt's will come through for you! Great business in Seattle!
Customer service was okay, the food didn't really do it for me though. Maybe it's cause I only tried the fries. I'd go there again to try the burger but eh. I think it'd be better with nacho cheese instead of shredded, but that's a personal preference.
Ordered 2 burgers, 1 chili dog, and 1 chili cheese fry. Took bags of food home. Opened bags. No chili dog. Now I have a screaming kid who doesn't get their dinner and two kids who did get their dinner. AWESOME. Such a fun parenting experience on a Friday night. Please note that it was not busy at all, there was one other guy there besides me. I don't know why it's so hard for someone to actually check the orders before they go out to ensure that this doesn't happen. My kids have wanted to try your restaurant since we we moved to South Seattle, my youngest in particular, he loves chili dogs. This was a great lesson for him: expect mediocrity and disappointment and you won't be let down. Again, what a terrible, disappointing experience. Thanks Matt!!!!!
Great Chicago dogs! Always stop here on my way back from Costco. Do yourself a favor and skip the costco dog. Go here and support a small business with consistently quality dogs.
