Best japanese deli in seattle! They have excellent if not the best/freshest sushi around. I've been going here since I was a kid (25+ years). Maruta is also a small business, which I love supporting small businesses. Parking can sometimes be an issue, but there's actually a parking lot in the back that most people don't know about. If you have a big car, look for the back parking lot!Highly recommended, very authentic, Japanese community approved!

Beyond excited to find this place with authentic, high quality, reasonably priced Japanese bentos!!!! A good selection of variety as well!!! I really like the bento quality and authenticity here. Always much better than Uwajimaya. We’ve come back many times toshop for lunch, dinner, pick up light meals for picnics, and this place never disappoints. I wish they have a larger veggies section and can open on Sunday. But I get it is a hard time for small businesses so I am just grateful for to have this place where I can get these amazing food!!

If you are looking for lunch take out options, check it out. It's so quick, so delicious. I will have to keep coming back to try everything at least once. It's also a small convenience mart with asian/japanese fare. So you can grab some snacks, a drink, and maybe something for dinner to cook at home. Highly recommend.

I love the food here. Both the hot food and ready made rolls are great. Parking and traffic are usually bad, but I can get in and out and back to work in 20 minutes.

Nice little neighborhood Japanese grocery store. It has a little bit of everything from daily made hot food, sushi, fresh produce, snacks, raw ingredients, frozen food to alcohol and more.

Great little Japanese convenience store. Prices are better than Uwajimaya and H Mart. At 4:30p every day they mark all their sushi half-price and it’s a gold rush. I was torn about writing this because it’ll encourage more competition for my sushi hahaha.

Japanese grocery store family owned and full of wonderful delicacies. The luncheon buffet is inexpensive and authentic. Daily specials and discounts. Domo Arigato, hei!

Great place to pick up some lunch. Mongolian beef, rice, sushi. Great prices too!

My wife and I love its sashimi! One of the best Japanese market in the states.

Best sushi in town. The salmon hot rolls are to die for. Prices are soooo cheap compared to the quality and roll sizes. The rice + items are really good too. The pokes are ok. The sake selection is great. Same goes for the asian products on the shelves. They have a great offer with a 50% discount on the rolls from the day before.
