We went there on 2020 and had an ok experience, came back now in 2022 and had totally different experience. Food and service was great. Cocktails amazing. We ordered oysters, halibut and ceviche. Everything we as beautifuly served and fresh. Delicious. Outdoor area was nice on this heatwave. Folks inside were probably suffering because it felt very stuffy while waiting for a table inside.
First time dining in at Manolin 3 weeks ago and it was an instant fave! The ambiance was really nice, we had our table inside but we also loved the open space setting. We appreciated how all our orders came in separately as we were able to taste each of their dishes and enjoyed them as they are. They were all very flavourful and uniquely made.I’ll definitely revisit when I visit Seattle again!
Very disappointed. We were given a recommendation to this restaurant. Someone in our party has a life-threatening nut allergy which we alerted to the server before ordering. Our server said we would be fine with everything (even though pecans were listed in a dish on the menu). Our server also said they would alert the chef to the allergy. We ordered what we thought would be safe, but when the dish came, it was evident there were nuts in the dish. From a restaurant at this price point, I expect servers to know any potential allergens in every item on the menu. The food we were able to eat was good, but I am glad we caught the error before the nut dish was consumed - otherwise, our trip to this restaurant would have ended in a trip to the hospital.
I really don't know what to expect when my friend booked Manolin for dinner. The restaurant has a simple decor but the food and service surpassed our expectation. The waiting staffs gave us some good recommendation regarding what to order and how much to order. We tried a good number of the dishes including Scallop Aguachile, Rockfish Ceviche, Oysters, Halibut, and Bavette (sliced beef tenderloin). They were all good. I can't wait to come back to dine here again and high recommend it.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Genuinely friendly staff and the most delicious and tasty dishes. We just sat and tried almost everything on the menu. Great evening - shout out to our lovely friendly waitress.
We didn't realize the connection to another one of our favorite Seattle restaurants Rupee Bar until after we ate here but they definitely have some common themes. Great cocktails (and I love the graphics on the menu) and an array of delicious food to choose from. The White Center might be my new favorite drink! The ceviche was exactly what I was looking for and the fish tasted very fresh. I think the surprise favorite of the night might have been the Gigante Beans. We sat inside at a high top table but we'll have to come back and sit on the patio because it looked so nice!
Hands down one of the best experiences and meals I’ve had in a very long time. The freshness and quality of the food was exceptional. Drinks were a little strong, but welcomed. If I lived in Seattle, I would be a regular here.
Excellent fish-based fare. The ceviche is a must, proper Peruvian with a slightly more acidic kick. Tombo tuna equally good. I’m not much for risotto but the squid ink risotto was crack.
some of the best bagels in town. pro tip is to order in advance online and avoid the line. my wife says their bagel and lox sandwich is top notch and always great. lots of outdoor seating to be covid-friendly. highly suggested!
They have a crazy extensive wine list, the font must have been 8 pt to fit everything on one page, so best to ask them to recommend what to get. The gelato for dessert was the best! We got to try a variety of flavors. Definitely get this! The Truta de Arriscottu- ricotta and saffron cake was good- but reminded me of fruit loops. Still good!
