First let me say, the food is good. The flavor is good, but the portions are rather small and expensive. The service is Meh. Something is off here. They just cannot seem to connect the dots between seating, waters, something else to drink, can I take your order, decent portions and checking on guests. It’s not complicated and it’s really a part of the job that makes dining guest have a good experience. Make sure there water is full, things are tasting good and also leaving them be. When the had the buffet, this place was at their peak! Their lack of decent service was unnoticeable because they had less to do. I have asked many times about the buffet coming back and they always say it is, but it isn’t. I should give them 3.5, but it’s not a four. So, expensive for the size, slow or confusing wait staff, and overly plain decor.

The food was fantastic! The service was absolutely terrible! He couldn't be bothered to keep our water glasses filled. Complained when we asked for 2 bags, to take our food home, as well (we don't live in the same household). When we asked to pay our bill, he asked us to wait 5 to 10 minutes so he could finish his food. He behaved extremely unprofessionally! Abundantly rude! Then refused our payment. He belittled us, saying we don't understand the pressure of his job. I am a server in a fairly high volume restaurant. He should absolutely not be in the service industry! We will NEVER go back, due to his behavior!

Hands down one of my favorite Indian cuisine restaurants in the area, I don’t live in west Seattle but I’m willing to make the drive despite others being closer to my house. Staff is both friendly and knowledgeable of their menu, able to make suggestions as to what someone might like as well as being attentive enough that you don’t feel like your water/drinks are left empty.

Food here is consistently great. Customer service was kind and helpful when I ordered at the wrong location. They saw it would have taken me an hour to get to the location in Kent- when I meant for the one in west Seattle- they remade the food and were so kind and understanding. I was so embarrassed- but even more grateful that the two locations were willing to work together. After a hard week of work- this is always one of my favorite comfort foods.

Just ate the most expensive pb&j after throwing out the food from here. I ordered chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and chai tea. The rice was brown and smelled like mildew. I couldnt even swallow the sip of chai tea. Honestly I was scared to eat the chicken, sauce tasted like tomatoes and naan although edible still tasted off. Nothing was good...Do not get this!!!!!

I have ordered take out as well as dine in, each time I have been happy. There's a good amount of flavor, and spice compared to other Indian restaurants I've found in Seattle. I will be returning.

The food is great, and so is the service. It's a good reminder that you shouldn't always judge a book by its cover because I stayed away from Maharaja because I just didn't think it looked like much. I'm glad I got to find out I was wrong!

A solid half of the time, curry comes out watery (especially during happy hour). Mixed drinks are not very good, so go with something on tap.

Ordered two tikka masala a spice heat leave of 3 and 4 for take out, got home it had no flavor pretty much was tomato soup. Called them to relay this didn’t even know what to say, smh. Lost a local customer.

do not go here. the food is disgusting, tasteless, frozen, with no spices. Not authentic Indian food whatsoever. What a disgrace. Not to mention do not use card here. THEY WILL SCAM YOU! the staff is horrible. menu is overpriced. i could go on and on. their website is full of fake 5 star reviews written by their friends to try and save their a$$es
