We enjoyed our breakfast sandwiches and other treats from Macrina. Very close to the apartment we stayed in, so it was convenient as well. Yum!

Upon arrival to Seattle we had to wait several hours to get into our airbnb. We had a ton of luggage with us and did not want to drag it all around with us. We saw this little bakery coffee shop around the corner that had a steady flow of customers in and out. We decided to stop in for a bit. We sat down with all of our luggage and the staff weren't bothered by it. I purchased a sandwich on a fresh toasted baguette. The sandwich was absolutely wonderful. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They used quality meats and fresh greens. As we sat for awhile a homeless man came in and got a cup of water from their self serve watering hole. Nobody gave him and problems nor did he create any. The staff members treated him like just another patron. It warmed my heart to see that. The atmosphere is light and open with a very relaxing feel. It was a great place to take a few minutes to calm ourselves after some stressful traveling and to get a little nourishment. Lucky for us our airbnb is in the building right behind them and I get to enjoy their baked goods every day while here. I absolutely recommend this establishment.

Super friendly staff! Delicious pastries! Lovely atmosphere!

Right when you walk in you see loads of absolutely gorgeous pastries. It's almost a sensory overload! Portions are incredible. I had the breakfast biscuit(sausage, egg and cheese) , substituted the sausage for bacon and a blueberry scone. Absolutely amazing! Perfect texture, balance of flavors etc.

This place is excellent. Hand made"artisan" bakery. Unfortunately I've tried multiple offerings (see photo from hotel room) and they are all excellent. I'm actually glad I live in another state, or I'd weight 300 pounds. If you are in Seattle, this place is worth searching out.

Love this bakery. The olive loaf is a favorite! Vegan scones taste like a sponge, so would not recommend that!

Loved it here! Delicious breakfast sandwich (The Cate) and a cheerful vanilla latte.

You don't have to go to a Macrina bakery to get Macrina baked goods because they are in almost every coffee shop in Seattle. The pastries aren't top-notch though. That's what annoys me when I see Macrina's stuff everywhere. Macrina's "croissant" is not even a croissant, but its Italian cousin called cornetto–a softer, sweeter, and less buttery version, basically a bad croissant. It breaks my heart to see "cornettos" everywhere in Seattle. The biggest strength of Macrina is their variety and I give them credit for that. They have a lot to offer, breads, pastries, muffins, cakes, as well as breakfast sandwiches. A visit to Macrina can easily make a full breakfast. They are a bit pricey though, especially considering the quality and taste of the pastries are nothing spectacular. This location in Belltown has only indoor seatings but they look cozy and people seem to enjoy spend some time here.

I sincerely thank God for directing me to such a legitimate expert trader for me, called Katherine Lawrence

Came here for some coffee, and ended up getting the Morning Glory Muffin as well. It was super tasty, and the top of the muffin was crunchy because of the raw sugar on top. The shop is pretty spacious as well!
