Great fish and chips! MacLeod's is probably my favorite pub in Ballard. There's also a ring on a string and a peg on the wall that you can waste hours with.

Great food. Amazing service from Naomi!! Thanks so much.

AMAZING! THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE AND THIS IS IT!

Hands down the best British fish and chips in Seattle! We’re not in the U.K. so it’s a treat. The fish batter is good but was just a touch too overcooked. That didn’t take away from that chippy flavor and smell so I’m not complaining. Took me back to fond memories of back home. We will definitely be back. I’m not sure where the food truck is as we only did the pub takeaway. But someone said the large is 10 bucks so will investigate that since the pub is pricey at 18 quid.

Beer battered fish and chips was perfect, fish was fresh, fries are homemade.Toffie sticky pudding was incredible! The owners wife was our waitress, she made the pudding, and the service was super. We will be back again and again.

I'm obnoxiously picky in Seattle and tend to prefer the finer dining experience, but this place is a mouthwatering spot for delicious fish and chips.DO order the crazy sauce for the fries and/or chips. You won't regret it, unless you're a picky 3yr old.

So yummy real cod fish and chips. It was hot and they make orders when they receive them. I ordered the large fish and chips for 10.99. The 2 pieces were large filers and not small pieces like some places I have been to. The fries were fresh and hot. I ordered the garlic chips and the garlic was fresh. The service was great you will need to ask for more tarter sauce and that was excellent too.

Best fish and chips...Hands down. This food truck is actually run by actual English people. They are such lovely and fantastic people. Just order a Fish and Chips. The fish was super giant. It was made fresh and came out really hot. Super crispy on the outside and tender flaky fish on the inside. I almost didn't need the tartar sauce to go with it. The chips aka fries came out fresh as well. Good crispy chips.

Came here specifically for fish and chips because I was so hungry. Couldn't even eat it. The fish was in such a huge chunk almost like a log of fish with very little breading. Also the fries were more like potato wedges. Very large and soft. Not crispy. This is definitely more of an english style dish as it came with mashed peas.

Really cool, Scottish pub-type ambiance and space, plus a very comprehensive Scotch menu. Great experience in Ballard!
