New owners, BIG disappointment. Back when this place was Teddy's Bigger Burger, it was a consistent, convenient and family-friendly burger joint. NOW, it's a filthy restaurant with questionable food and horrible service. On our visit today, which will be the last one ever, it took them 25 minutes to present my daughter, who was the only patron present in the restaurant the entire time, with a bun and some cheese with NO burger. Seriously.
Green lake branch. Put my order in for takeout. Took my time getting there. Arrived 15 minutes later and they were not aware of my order. Only two people working at the busiest time of the day. Young woman working the counter didn't seem to know how to deal with my on-line order. Took all info off the computer and put it into the cash register. Waited more than 15 minutes for my order, some of which sat on the counter for five minutes while other parts were still cooking. Most of food was lukewarm at best when I got home. Good news: the fries and sweet potato fries were great. The fried chicken sandwich, which is what the rest of the order was waiting for, though it looked nothing like the menu picture, was great. The burger we ordered was cold and dry. More good news: we ordered with a Valpack coupon and got $10, off which I thought was generous. I think this could be a great place if they could just get organized.
Food is absolutely delicious, staff is extremely friendly. It's a nice place to sit and eat some real food with a pretty view of the lake. They have multiple TVs with sports and a good selection of beer!
A must visit burger spot in green lake.I have 4,000 burger photos in my iCloud photo album. This means two things. 1 - I love burgers. 2 - I’ve invested a lot into iCloud storage so that I can reminisce of previous burger memories. Some may question this financial decision.I ordered the 1/2lb Hawaiian burger and it was wonderful. The patties were hearty and tasted fresh. The dressings were crisp and the pineapple slices were juicy and sweet. The teriyaki glaze was a godly final touch on this burger. The fries were cooked just right and tasted delicious with the numerous sauce offerings available (I’m pro honey mustard). The service was friendly, restaurant was spotless, and the food came out quickly (within 15 minutes). I went around 7:30pm.Oh, and now I have 4,001 burger photos in my album. Will be back soon!
Stopped by for takeout last Sunday, there was no line and just a few customers dining. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Ordered the vegan burger and the impossible burger only, wanted to compare their vegetarian options. Ordered them standard except no onions. Sat and waited while the food was freshly made. The booth I sat at was very clean and offered a nice view of Green Lake which it is adjacent to. After a few minutes my name was called and my food was packaged snugly for me to take it outside. Both burgers were very tasty. The vegan burger exceeded my expectations and is certainly the cheaper option of the two. The impossible burger was also great, cooked perfectly and fresh buns, veggies and sauces. Highly recommend this establishment and will return again soon.
Great service and absolutely delicious food. Not greasy at all which can be some peoples preference lol. But if you want a good burger that doesn’t hit your gut like a bomb it’s Local Bigger Burger.
I chanced upon this place 2 months ago, and have been visiting pretty much every other week ever since. It's one of the few places in Seattle that not only serves a veggie burger but does a great job at it. I usually go for their meal, because the fries are so damn good.Their staff is always friendly and courteous. Special shout out to Savannah who made the most delicious burger for me today, and was very friendly!
Asked for a well-done burger. Got raw patties when I ordered - red from the edge in
Don't try to pre-schedule your pick-up order!I've ordered here twice. First of all, the food is really good! Great menu, nice location, good place to indulge. I've had the sriracha and the smoke fire burgers and both were great. Really good fries, too. The first visit was during the day and we dined in. There were maybe 3-4 other families in the restaurant ahead of us and it didn't seem very busy, but they were very obviously understaffed. We waited about 45 minutes for our food, and over an hour for milkshakes (maybe close to 1.5 hrs). Not surprising during the pandemic with widespread staffing shortages, and I actually felt bad for the staff as the one guy up front taking orders seemed really stressed out. Today, I was craving some onion rings and my usual burger place is all out, so I decided to give this place another go and scheduled a pick up online to be ready in a little over an hour. I was hoping that since it was dinnertime on a Friday night, pre-scheduling would give them enough time to prepare it so I wouldn't have to wait too long in case it was busy. I picked it up, walked home (about a 10 minute walk), but when I finally sat down to eat it, it was straight up cold. Like "sitting on the counter for an hour" cold. And just like last time, it didn't seem very busy, there were only like two groups sitting inside. Why offer options schedule a pick-up time if you're just going to make it right away and let it sit? Why did they hand it to me and let me pay for it knowing it had been out for so long?Again, the food is great, so I'll probably be back at some point, but ONLY if I'm ordering it there and have time to kill sitting around and waiting for it to come out -- which doesn't happen very often.
Hawaiians know their burgers! I don't know if this is a chain, but it's certainly a good one. Crispy fries every time. Moist towelettes included in the to-go bag. Great selection of sizes and options.Great! Will be back, my cholesterol levels will never forgive me
