We arrived in Seattle in the wee hours. Wandered around a little before we could check into our hotel. We found this place for a good cup of coffee. Holy cow is it amazing! My poor cup must have had a hole in it, it only lasted about 20 minutes. Lol. We're going to make this stop often on our visit. I got the breve and my husband got an Americano.
Good coffee at good prices. No Wi-Fi for anyone that is hoping to work here. Definitely a neighborhood coffee house vibe. Excellent molasses cookie also.
I did a Seattle coffee crawl in 2020 and this roasters was the absolute winner in quality. Best cortado I've had in the Seattle area. Their oat milk was a miss but if you're drinking from a cow, you are in for an espresso treat.
This is an old-school coffee roastery/shop that doesn’t follow the latest trends of minimalist + plant aesthetic and lightly roasted fruity/acidic East African beans. That said I enjoyed my macchiato
Best coffee I've had in Seattle, Down-to-earth polite baristas, Open late. No matter where you're at in Seattle this place is worth the trip. 5 stars.
I was there yesterday fir the first time and it was amazing. Great service and delicious coffee. The place also smells so good with all of the fresh coffee they are roasting there. I wish this place was close to me but I will definitely go back.
The concept of the neighborhood coffee shop is new to me, and Lighthouse has already set the bar pretty high with good service and great coffee; not to mention tasty treats. And all at an affordable price. If you're looking for the quintessential Seattle coffee experience you need to add Lighthouse Roasters to your list.
Top tier coffee.Sample of two - Americano and Latte.Best in Seattle area.Smell of coffee smells wonderfulFriendly barrista - apparently the roaster/ownerNice atmosphereExcellently brewed coffee - taste is wonderful.Just right temperature when servedWe just opened the Roaster's Choice, to brew at home. The nice smell of coffee permeates in our kitchen dining...I will post before I taste the home brewed lighthouse. The one they serve is top notch great.
I think it's important to note that this place focuses on being a coffee roaster first, and the "cute coffee shop" fluff second. Which is important because obviously they take their coffee seriously and it's their primary focus.- Cool semi industrial style setting in the heart of a residential neighborhood.- Awesome to watch coffee being roasted old school (visual/analog temp gauge inspection roasting) right infrony of you. None of the fly by night, computer controlled roasters you see most places now that are all automatic.- Friendly staff that know their coffee- Drinks were great! Mocha was heavy on the espresso and chocolate notes without your normal "sugar syrup overload"Drip coffee of the day had a great flavor profile. You can tell the in house roasted fresh difference.
