It's right next door to my apartment building. great place to get a new mexico green chile cheese burger
Ok, so I was too hungry to have a photo sesh with my food, but trust me. The food looked as good as it tasted, and oh man was it tasty. Like a good old home cooked griddle burger, cheese melted perfectly. Then HAND CUT FRIES!! They were awesome. Had to get my burger bunless due to gluten but they expertly crafted an easy to eat no bun burger ( a lot of places throw in a Tun and call it good ?). COVID protocols were being adhered to, and staff were working diligently to wipe the place down.
Tried this burger place out by ordering two of the regular burgers with some fries and onion rings. The main reason for lack of stars is the taste of the basic burger. On the first bite it immediately reminded me of some cheaper fast food options and nothing that would make me return here again. Something about the meat and bun combo tastes cheap. The fries were pretty good, albeit the upgraded size felt like what a standard order should be in the case of takeout. Onion rings were pretty standard fair.Overall I would not return given the plethora of better options elsewhere on the hill.
Service was terrific the food is delicious and I would definitely recommend this place to people. I was my first visit here and I live really close by. I wanted to check this place out because I walk by it all the time. Price is pretty cheap for fries and a burger but I love it
The fries were delicious, I love thin and crispy fries. I had the veggie burger, and it wasn’t anything special. Not the best burger place in the world, but certainly not the worst.
the french frys are limp and the onion ring are as bad. Burgers ok but not anything special. started off good up now to big to care if it's good. Pike St shop is the worst.
The burgers are absolutely PERFECT! Shake is on point, onion-rings are to die for, the fries are delicious. Only thing we didn't absolutely love was the queso, on the cheese fries. But, I think that is more of a personal taste thing I could see where some could really enjoy it. It has a taco seasoning taste that didn't match the rest of our meal. Enjoyed the actual restaurant I could see where it could fill fast but, I think that is some of it's charm.
Went in to try the little crunch wrap and it didn't disappoint!! Queso fries are also a can't miss!
Okay, I realize that my being from the desert southwest comes up frequently in my reviews. In my defense, it's relevant when I bring it up.I was pleasantly surprised and delighted by Li'l Woody's New Mexican. It had REAL (though very mild) Hatch green chile. To make my visit even better, they made my burger actually medium, a testament to the chef's skill. That the patty was thin makes this feat even more impressive. It is incredibly rare (teehee) to find someone who can cook a medium burger anywhere. The atmosphere was lovely and the service was what I expected. The prices are also reasonable for the location. Overall, I was quite pleased with the whole experience and look forward to going back; of course I'll tell my friends, too.
I love the food here! Burgers are cooked to perfection. Fries are thin and crispy and lightly seasoned. A variety of sandwiches on the menu. You can get chicken, fish, and veggie sandwiches as well. Sooo good!! Can get a little sloppy depending on what you add to the burger, but so worth the mess. My only issue is that when I order, they do not put my sauce in the bag. This has happened both times I ordered pick-up. They charge you for sauce, and don’t even care enough to put it in the bag. It’s funny how something so small can be so freakin ANNOYING! The sauces are a great little addition to your meal if you ever actually receive them?? I use the Capitol Hill location.
