Been driving by here for a few years, Georgetown Brewing is across the street, and I wish i had stopped in sooner. Really nice menu with a good variety of sandwiches. Not a soup day today for me but I definitely will try some. Had the Cubano sandwich, come with pasta salad and a cookie. Wasn't expecting the cookie or salad for the price but a nice surprise. Place was busy and now I know why. Highly recommended.
Great soup, even better prices. Love the rotating menu, and the salads and sandwiches are worth a try as well.

Lect's soup stop is my absolute favorite place for lunch in Georgetown. Their Garden Vegetable soup, which they serve everyday, is surprisingly delicious despite being a veggie only soup.They also have a different soup everyday and they are all posted on their website in a schedule/calendar. If you really enjoyed the soup from the day before then you are in luck because they also serve the soup from the previous day; they also serve the soup from two days before, I believe. So you get a couple more extra days to enjoy a soup.Aside from the soup, they also serve paninis, sandwiches, and salads. I'll admit I usually get their soups and really ever get any of the sandwiches or the salads but when I do they are very delicious and never disappointing.If you live or work in Georgetown or in the nearby neighborhood then this is a MUST know/try place. If you haven't then you are missing out ?
Incredible soups, salads and sandwiches. It's an excellent lunch spot, but it can get quite busy too.
First time took my co worker had the sandwich special waz good sandwich turkey, prosciutto,cranberry ,slice apple did panini style waz good flavor

Best soup in town! I love the place! They also make a point in remembering your name. Between 2 and 3:00 they serve the homeless also. Great people and place I think!
They are in the top 5 of my favorite places in the area for lunch. Their soups are delicious and I really like their rolls that come with the soup as well. I usually come here at least once a week, if not more often. There have been many times where I got lunch from here 5 days a week. I can't think of a time when I got soup from here and disliked the soup.-K
First time for me. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it didn't disappoint! Going back soon to try their scratch soups.
