After our moving visit to the SAM, we sought a satisfying dining experience to round out our evening: Le Pichet hit the bullseye. When I entered the restaurant, the maî·tre d' welcomed me warmly and invited me and my partner to sit on the cozy sidewalk patio. The server assistant promptly greeted us with water and we order two cocktails from them: a delicate gin martini brightened with orange flower water and a citrusy, complex, well-balanced mezcal cocktail. From the perfectly-crisped salt cod fitters to the tender, creamy pork and sweetbreads sausage served with a cilantro-lime vinaigrette tossed escarole salad to the beautifully sautéed asparagus complemented by a shallot tarragon vinaigrette and soft-boiled egg, to the fries, i.e. crispy pillows from heaven, to the almond cake accompanied by a rhubarb reduction and mascarpone — I haven’t even remarked on the the entrees, but suffice to say, they were remarkable as well. The service was impeccable yet relaxed. We enthusiastically anticipate our next visit!
This place is justifiably busy so book ahead if you want a table - we had to sit at the bar which was also good. The food was all delicious - the duck confit was especially good. The Cote du Rhone also went down well. Service was good, but I was disappointed to see an automatic 'discretionary' 20% service charge added to the bill.
Dinner was very good at Le Pichet. A small'ish place with limited tables but very attentive service and personable staff. Our server took time to explain the menu items to my daughter and was very good. Food was excellent. Had the duck and steak. Cod fritter for appetizer and the chocolate thingy for dessert. All good. With the Cote du Rhone, good evening.
The food and service here was really good.We got the beet salad and the asparagus salad..both were delicious but the asparagus was just amazing. For our main we got the mussels and the potato and garlic soup. The mussels were great and the soup could have used some seasoning. The honey and goat cheese ice cream was really really good!!
Really nice place, french atmosphere, good food, nice and friendly service, lot of chouce for the wine. We had some mussels with some baguette it was delicious !!! An absolute awesome chocolate pie with hazelnut !! It was great and we will probably go back. Probably better to book a table.
Visited this mainstay of Seattle bistros on a Saturday morning and was warmly greeted by the amazing staff. A big thank you Anna for the best table in the house. Coffee was perfect. Loved the pastries and egg/ ham meal.
They don't always have french onion soup, but today they did and it was so savory. We also got the charcuterie and the broiled eggs with ham.The menu was a bit difficult to navigate, but the waitress was super helpful.
Reserved a table at a fairly early hour since attending the theatre after dinner. Atmosphere is quaint and reminiscent of our trip to Paris. Most important, the food was superb! Cauliflower with pork sausage prepared in a light sauce and duck accompanied by endive and grapefruit were delicious. Accompanied by bread and wine we found the wait staff and fellow diners personable yet, respectful.
Had soup, oysters, and chocolate cake!??Very french, very authentic, menu changes all the time.Good value! ??
Tricky to rate. The grand charcuterie is fantastic. Trout dish is protein poor. Steak is hard to chew for it is too raw (I said medium but they offered a little more rare than medium-rare).
