Friendly service and amazing food! We got oysters, duck confit, and steak frites. The drink menu descriptions were witty and helped me choose a nice wine.

I had a delicious meal here the other night. My friend and I sat at the bar and Tommy the bartender took excellent care of us. From the unique and carefully executed cocktails, to the perfect glass of wine to accompany our entrees and our dessert, I was very glad to have been seated at the bar.And the food was delicious! The liver moose appetizer was super tasty and the sturgeon I had for my entree was cooked perfectly.Well done! I will definitely be returning :-)

A lot to love here. An outstanding bistro menu. A great cocktail program. An absolutely outstanding wine list with few big names, lots of French regions not found on 98% of wine lists, and they are all reasonably priced.

A casual experience that focuses on great quality food, combined with an excellent wine menu, topped with servers who really know their stuff. Get dressed up (like we did) or don't, it doesn't matter - you'll enjoy the food and experience either way!Don't forget to ask your server for advice, they're very knowledgeable and can point you in the right direction fire menu choices or wine selection.Definitely recommended, my wife and I will be going back soon

Small, quaint and charming. Menu isn't extensive but it's perfect French fare and the prices are great. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, reminds me of a bistro in the suburbs of Paris. Very much recommend.

One of the best meals I've had in a long, long time! Bring a date or friends and eat your heart out!!! AMAZING service!!!

We had a lovely dinner at the bar in L'Oursin last night. The menu was unique, but still classique. Our dishes reflected this eclectic style, as we dined on Veau Tonné, Terrine de Foie Gras, Black Cod, Steak frites and a large delectable Crème Brûlée for dessert. Everything was very good, if not delicious. There was no misses, and we had a wonderful meal. L'Oursin is designed beautifully, very Francais, s'il vous plaît. I also tested the mixology skills of our bartenders/servers Zachary and Tommy, and they both are at the very top of their field, meeting my needs perfectly. The only shock was the price, as Seattle's expense continues to wow me. Our meal, with three cocktails, two glasses of white wine, and the 20% tip included in the bill came to $242.11. That's a lot of moolah, anywhere. I understand the cost of living in Seattle is ludicrous, and we pay for living in such a beautiful city. Yet, Seattle isn't New York, but the costs are certainly coming close. Something has to give, unless this city wants to cater solely to the upper class, ignoring cultural diversity. With prices like this, someone my age who isn't a billionaire, can't go out much. That's a shame

Good french food, with a sensible atmosphere.

Great French food, amazing cocktails, wonderful service. Will definitely go back. Only negative is it was hot inside. Luckily we were able to sit outside.

Loved it! Everything was absolutely divine. They really had a deft hand with pairing flavors, my favorite was the albacore tuna with compressed watermelon and basil. I never would of imagined that basil would go so well with tuna but it was to die for. Also attention to details were perfect, every salad or green we had was perfectly dressed and well salted making things seriously tasty. One of the best meals I've had in a long time.
