Sitting and eating at this place makes my heart full. I had been searching for a healthy food bowl cafe around Seattle for a while and had not been able to find one that I enjoy. Then I saw this cafe today. I ordered the Japanese cheesecake, a tofu bowl, and an iced matcha. I loved every item. Having lunch here and knowing this little cafe is here brightened my day indefinitely. Thank you!
Friendly service and the food tasted great! I got the Mirin soaked chicken rice bowl.
I was looking for a quick snack before heading to Kerry Park and came across this cafe. The gentleman behind the counter recommended this edamame mash avocado toast for a small snack and it was perfect! The flavors were outstanding, and the texture from the toast + fried shallots were satisfying. For the drink, I went with a ginger peach tea of some sorts. It had a strong sour punch to it when you first take a sip, might have been the ginger. I highly recommend giving it a try, especially if you like ginger, peach and tea ?
I’ve ordered delivery from here twice and their rice bowls are insane. I got the koji tofu bowl both times and it is definitely going to be on repeat when I need something fast and delicious.Everything in this bowl is delicious, but the sauces are what make it stand out. The flavors are bold and go together so well. The cauliflower is my favorite part ?Just because there’s so much flavor and sauce, I could do a bit more rice. The amount of food is perfect though. Not an overwhelming portion but very satiating.Koku Cafe really hit the jackpot here — they’ve created a dish I know I can’t replicate at home and now need to have in my life. With fair prices, I’ll be a repeat customer as long as I’m in the area!
I have been to this place on multiple occasions and it has been great every time. The Osaka Omelette and Kokumi melt sandwich is amazing. The red espresso latte is worth trying. The staff is very courteous and the place is perfect to have a weekend brunch.
Outstanding gem in Queen Anne! The service was so friendly and welcoming, and we felt like we were being served in somebody’s house. Very cozy homey vibe with a warm fireplace, comfy couches and tables. The food was outstanding with an Asian flare. I highly recommend this place and wish there was a location in Ballard where we live!
We had the Mirin Soaked chicken bowl and the Midori grilled cheese sandwich. The sandwich was very good. Super delicious. The bowl was just about good.
This place is such a gem. Their traditional deli options are just okay but the real winner is the curry which reminds me of being in Japan. It's also vegetarian so if you don't feel like the meat fest that is Nanas Green Tea this is a great alternative. Make sure you check our their unique pastries that are delivered every Thursday!
Definitely a hidden gem! What a nice staff❤️! I ordered Ginger Koji Tofu with Matcha coffee. It was amazing! Definitely coming back!! :)
Really nice mocha, good chocolate flavor and not super sweet. Matcha latte was really good too. No comparison to a coffee shop syrup. Also had the Midori Grilled Cheese. It was quite good. Loved the scallion and nori flavors.
