Website said they were open till 9 called at 8:30 to try to place order no answer so I drove 20 minutes to try to get there before they closed. Got there at 8:47 lady said that she stopped taking orders about 8:30 and said I should have called in. I told her I did call at 8:30 she said I can’t do anything for you. Food is good staff is horrid.
Hit the spot. Fries are nice and crispy. I got the spicy steak Philly and it was huge and filled to the brim for what I paid ($10.50 ish).
Used to be my favorite place to eat. The atmosphere & food USED to be amazing! Never had an issue with anything! NOW,NOBODY answers the phone to place a pickup order,no greeting when you arrive,after standing at the register for 5 minutes you get to place your order. Then once you get your food there’s barely any meat & not done as requested. This last time my mushrooms were burnt I LITERALLY only had meat & cheese none of the other ingredients listed on the menu plus the mayo I requested. When I pointed it out I was RUDELY offered a side of mayo that I STILL didn’t receive. I finally requested a refund after this being the second time I placed an order with HORRIBLE customer service(thought maybe the first day she was having a bad day) & my food not done properly. It’s bad enough the cook is preparing the food wearing coat.Somebody let me know when some new people start working or when the old staff is working I’ll come order during that time. It’s hard trying to support a black owned business when you’re treated so poorly. I wish King Philly was the way it used to be. When I didn’t have to come home & doctor my sandwich??♀️
Your search is over!! This is HANDSDOWN the absolute PERFECT Philly cheesesteak sandwich!! Every ingredient melded into the other, cooked & seasoned perfectly! I could eat them ever day! I live 1 hr away and don’t care, I drive it regularly to get my fix!These guys truly deserve the name KING Philly!
I wish I could leave 0 stars. I approached this door at 8:48pm to order 1 sandwich taking the stores “open” signs are all on and the lady meets me at the door to tell me they are closed /:How? When your business says your open until 9pm?
Food was great, service was terrible. The young lady behind the counter was rude from the jump. With something like cheese steak egg rolls on the menu, you're bound to get at least one or two people asking about what's in them if you're not going to put their ingredients on that menu. Condescending someone just for asking that question is outrageous. Glad we tried them 'cause the food was good, but that service will prevent us from ever returning.
ordered delivery - overall not good. i didn't finish bc it was fairly tasteless and greasy. not ordering again

First off. It's in the ghetto right? I was served by a modestly dressed, hard working, assertive black woman. Kind, informative and she makes a mean cheese fry. She whipped it up in 6 minutes. Shorter than it took me to finish my soda.I'm glad I tipped her because I would have felt guilty how smooth that went and a great snack for traffic jam.
I've been here twice and both times the food was great! If you're in the area and wanting a Philly you should give them a try, I've yet to be disappointed
