This a great Irish bar and restaurant by Pike Place Market. They have traditional Irish food if you're craving corned beef and cabbage or Irish stew! It's in a very old building that's been featured on a few paranormal activity TV shows. The restaurant/bar itself is mostly wood so no booth seating but it's very pretty and still comfortable. You can sit at the bar or a table. The have TV's with sports usually playing. It's a great place to grab something to eat downtown especially if you don't get down there early and the rest if the market is close Kells and other businesses in Post Alley generally stay open later than the actual market.
Just stopped in for delicious shepherds pie and a cider! It was fabulous! Beautiful sunny day! Speedy service, delicious food!
A very pleasant surprise on Pike Place!A typical Irish pub interior, Dubliners playing on speakers, with good but not great choice of draft beers, however, they have an awesome cook! I ordered pork belly with mashed potatoes, gravy and vegetable skewers. Sounds plain, but it was unlike any dish of a similar content I tried before. I really enjoyed every bite of it. Will definitely go back!
lovely music and environment! wonderful time :)
From the beer, to the service, to the food, everything was, as usual, very good. I stop by here every single time I'm in Seattle. Every time. I do this because it reminds me of Cheers. I'm always greeted with smiles and I always leave feeling like I've had lunch or dinner with friends.
Every time I visit I’m treated to the friendliest, the best corn-beef and cabbage in the world. My best hangout.
I can't say enough good things about Kells! This place was absolutely amazing! They have such a great selection of drinks and food. My husband and I ordered the bangers and mash. We are planning another Seattle trip just so we can go back to this pub!
Stopped her after checking into our hotel. I was really looking forward to a good Irish meal. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. There was little to no flavor to the Irish Stew. The Banger's and Mash was so-so as well. The beer was good though!
My husband is from County Mayo and was dying for a pint and he found home away from home. If any Irishman does visit Seattle, 100% recommend this pub above all. Fair dues to the owner for maintaining a fine bar. The craic was mighty.
The chicken burger was terrible. Very tough and rubbery. The Irish coffee was very good. The service was excellent.
