This was my first time ever at a katsu burger. It looks to be a Japanese flavor on a traditional Burger house. I'm not 100%, but I believe all of the burgers are vegetarian. Fake meat basically. That did not deter me and I jumped on one of their combos with some fries with seaweed flakes. Finished it off with a root beer out of the fridge. Customer service was fantastic. They were busy and it did take 15 minutes to get my food, but with the quality of the food and the cooking it from scratch I was happy.
Amazing! I got the Tokyo Classic burger and regular fries. Everything was delicious! The burger is huge and was cooked perfectly, I love the crispy/crunchy exterior. Awesome twist on burgers. The fries are quite salty but still very good, and it's better than being not salty enough. I got the fries and drink combo added onto my order so I got to pick any drink from the cooler which was awesome. Prices here are more reasonable than Seattle prices in general. There's a small amount of parking out front and many nice booths and seating inside, though you can get takeout too. Food came out very fast. Would definitely stop by again!
There has yet to be an item I haven't liked from Katsu Burger, so I decided to get the Tokyo Mushroom Melt this time. It was absolutely amazing. It struck me that mushrooms were an ingredient I had really been missing on a burger. I decided to try the Banzai Bites this time. They were pretty good, but I might stick with the 12 spice fries. There was nothing wrong with them. I just really love the 12 spices!
Katsu burgers were great. Had the wasabi, but should have gotten the original. Guess when I hear Katsu, I think typical Katsu sauce, but son wanted to share the wasabi, so that's what we got. Others in our party got the Original and really enjoyed it. Friendly staff and quick service. Would definitely recommend.
I love this fusion burger joint. Tried the Godzilla attack, Tokyo classic. Beware the burgers are massive. But they’re freaking delicious with the unique sauces. I especially love the cabbage and mayo on top of the deep fried patty. Highly recommend 10/10.
Love them! They are always so nice, quick, and consistently delicious. The 12 spices fries with curry mayo is our favorite. All the proteins we've tried (pork, chicken, tofu) have been delicious. We usually get the classic or the katsu curry. Thank you Katsu Burger for getting us through this!
Pretty good with lots of flavors! I got the impossible katsu and it was indistinguishable from a normal patty, and flavorful to boot. The fries, while quite serviceable, were definitely overpriced. The cashier was also very nice. I'd go again if I'm ever in Georgetown.
I've heard about katsu burger and finally decided to check it out. I got the Tokyo Tower mega burger which was probably too much as this thing was MASSIVE. I thought the crispy katsu patties were pretty novel and overall the burger tasted good. Worth a visit, but I'd probably get a normal-sized burger next time.
Katsu delivered on my expectations for a different, novel, interesting, and tasty "burger". The food was fresh, nicely put together, and thoughtfully wrapped. The place was impeccably clean despite the rough area of town, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. I was pleased to find Impossible Burger and Tofu substitutes available. I ding this location for not accepting cash, and IMO the sauce portions (for the fries) were too small for the amount of food they serve. I'd certainly go back, especially with an out-of-town guest, but I don't think any human being could make Katsu a regular spot because it's so heavy.
I called to order and was put on hold. I walked in still on hold and ordered my burger and waited. So they just put you on hold and forget. But I paid and even left a tip. It was delicious. So you’re better off going in to order.
