Kati Vegan Thai was one of my favorite restaurants I’ve been to! So refreshing to find an all vegan Thai restaurant- not something we have at home. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was kind, and the ambiance of the restaurant was hip and fresh. My only complaint is the bathrooms really need some attention. Feel like they’re on the wrong side of the tracks from the rest of the restaurant :(
My partner and I called ahead in order to make sure we weren’t going to show up at the very end of the establishment’s night (to be courteous and respectful). We were told that arriving before 9:46pm would be ok and so we came at 9:30pm. We were greeted at the door with, “let me check what time it is” and were told “as long as you both are fast and eat quickly, you should be fine as we close at 10:00pm”. We sat and ordered immediately. We ordered Pad Thai and it was super salty and barely had any tofu as described. We also ordered the devil’s wings mushrooms and they were beyond over salted. Very disappointed with the service and food. We’ve been here on other occasions and ordered other food and had better service in the past but this last visit literally left a bad taste in our mouths. Unfortunate and we feel we wasted our time and money on this place tonight.
I was really excited to discover this place because I love Thai food, but my husband hates fish sauce and most Thai restaurants put way to much of it on every dish. He's normally a hard 'no' on Thai, but was willing to try this place since it's vegan. The first time I ate here with friends we all really loved it and I knew I had to bring him here. My husband tried it with me and another friend. We really loved the fresh garden rolls and angel wings as appetizers. I also enjoyed Pad Kee Mao and the Kati Mai Thai. My friend loved the coastal curry with artichokes. My husband got the Pad Thai and let me try. It actually wasn't our favorite, but the good news is that there was no fish sauce so he's willing to try it again!
Really enjoyed our dinner here. All of the dishes were delicious. It was nice to try jackfruit--yum! The yellow curry was very spicy for us, but everything had great flavors!
This may have been my first time ever to eat in a vegan and or vegetarian specific restaurant. I ordered the sweet and sour cashew with tofu as protein and I think I should have added rice to go with because the vegetables it's so was a little too strong, especially with the sweet and sour sauce.Thai tea because, Thai tea!Finished with an $11 mango delight that was with every penny. Great presentation great taste and lots of mango.
The place is cozy and has good sitting options. The food options are amazing and taste great! I ordered green curry with rice which was awesome. The portions are good and beer is great! Loved eating here and would like to visit again.
The best vegan thai food is available here. We ordered a variety of starters and main course and all of them were extremely tasty and savory. The potion size is extremely good even if the budget might be too steep. They have limited desert options but definitely a must visit in seattle.
I really liked the purple rice and the cucumber side salad. The yellow curry was pretty good but kind of thin and only had to like two pieces of potato and was mainly just sauce. The fact you have to buy any rice with a curry is odd, it should at least come with white rice. The roti though... It was terrible. Very doughy and not cooked well. Overall, enjoyed the meal but I prefer Araya's for vegan Thai much better.
I was visiting from Detroit and I ordered from here seeing the amazing reviews, and was quite disappointed. Ordered the hot basil fried rice and massaman curry. While I appreciated the fact that it was vegan, I have had better food at small mom n pop thai restaurants in Detroit. But I don’t think it’s limited to this place. Overall I have usually been disappointed with the Seattle culinary scene whenever I have visited. While it’s a beautiful city, the food is less than expected.
The food here tasted phenomenal and so fresh. Service was excellent and attentive. Cocktails and ambiance on point. There wasn’t anything about our experience we didn’t love. We might return again before our vacation ends here in Seattle! Pictured here is the remedy cocktail, very good and not too sweet. Also the spring rolls which they call slightly different…fresh rolls? They were amazing. Pay the extra $2 and get the peanut sauce too. The tamarind sauce was excellent too.
