Cute little place across from Grocery Outlet, on Union and MLK. I want to love this place unfortunately our experience was just alright. Their Arnold Palmer drink was delicious and very refreshing but the sandwiches need improvement. My sandwich was overflowed with vignette dressing and not much taste besides vinegar. As for the French Dip, it was also okay as well. Not much of a wow flavor to it, the meat was dried. Honestly, how can you go wrong with a French Dip?As for the market side, they seem to have many cool sauces and cheese options but I wouldn't consider this place a butcher shop. I consider fresh meat, cut the way you want with all sore of variety is a butcher shop.I love to support local businesses but we probably have to skip out on this place unless things improve.

Joyce is a great small business owner. She also makes some great food! Check out the frozen section for an easy weeknight meal and grab a bottle of great olive oil or box of pasta while you're at it. You can go wrong with a sandwich and soup either. Trust, you'll enjoy all of it!

A lovely small and cozy sandwich place and market. Joyce whipped up a lunch for 4 with lots of care and attention. Good touch with the Connect 4 game while waiting for the food to come.

Walked in this morning and was completely charmed. Great selection of yummy goodies in the store, and then Joyce crafted the most delicious croque monsieur. This is the place you want to support in our neighborhood - small, local business doing stellar work. Will be taking the charcuterie platters to my next function for sure! Thank you Joyce for an absolutely lovely experience.

Refused to let me enter the market side with my service dog, and did it rudely, to boot. Not sure that's even legal, but whatever. The teriyaki place around the corner wasn't rude at all, go there instead, or the grocery outlet - neither of those places seem to be run by axe-faced haters.

Service in both the cheese shop and deli were great. Cute shop. Nice, but small selection of cheeses. The watermelon salad was delicious, the dressing was so good. The pesto in the caprese panini didn't have much flavor, could have used some salt, but was pretty good.

Joyce's has everything good you could want and we left with some new discoveries that are delicious as well. Great spot for putting a Charcuterie board together and they have great looking food and wine to be enjoyed at Joyce's with indoor and outdoor seating.

Joyce's charcuterie plate was the best I've had in my life - no joke. The sage cheddar is incredible, and the tomato jam was heavenly. Not to mention that Joyce was so gracious and willing to adapt to my dietary restrictions. We will be back!

Skilled, kind, professional folks bringing balanced, delicious, and unique food to a city whose history and needs they understand. Lucky to have this place around. Impressive in-house sausage. Thank for the tasty eats.

For some reason I was under the impression that Joyce's Market had been just recently opened only to find that she's been in business for almost 3 years. I finally found an opportunity to stop in and oh boy! was I pleasantly surprised! I couldn't believe all of the delicious foods jumping at my eyeballs. The wines, sweeties, homemade stocks, meats, catering platters, pastas, and so on and so on. And I shan't forget to mention that Joyce herself was extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful. I walked out with some creamy goat cheese, homemade beef stock and some OMG Marinated Pork Cheeks. I look forward to grabbing those again! I'm eager to utilize her catering services for upcoming meetings. Until then, I'll make my way there for coffee, beer or to try out her deli sandwiches. She's everything she claims to be. I love that this is part of our neighborhood.
