Intimate setting, like sitting in front of a warm fire with a friend. Cappuccino was Seattle solid. Staff was great.

Food and coffee are good. Service is friendly and prompt. And the spot's cute. First time there today. Will definitely be back.

Great place for a light brunch, or a morning coffee. Limited seating, but it is enough off the beaten path that you can usually find a place a quiet space in the corner.

Funky local dive for those looking for a homey, Seattle coffee vibe.Building and shop look well-loved, the music and decor was charming, and the drink menu was as standard as they come. Overall, a good experience. My only thing was the actual drink wasn’t awesome. Other shops in the area have delivered on better beverages. Just my two cents…

Best neighborhood coffee shop with a truly local vibe. Lovely patio, delicious crepes. Baristas are awesome and remember you. Feels like home away from home.

Holy cow. I was in the area and starving. I looked up the menu and I was like $12 for a tuna sandwich!? Eh. And thought I'd probably get more from subway. Waited a bit but didn't see a subway nearby so I took a chance and WOW. Was not disappointed! Worth the price. Way better than Subway. It also came with this cute salad w cranberries. The dressing was incredible. Sandwich perfection. Quality. Freaking awesome and it made my day. It's actually a pretty thick sandwich. Filled me up!! I'm pretty content that I stopped in. I scarfed down the salad before I could get a photo. And that's my bite on the sandwich. My bad. I was starving. So good!!! Thanks Joe Bar!!!!

Coffee was good, crepe was pretty mediocre. Got aggressively and publicly shamed for not tipping, which is just not cool. I already spent $20+ for a coffee and crepe that took 2 minutes to make - tipping should be my choice, not a social obligation. Obviously will not be coming back.

Perfect coffee place, best in the neighborhood and way better quality than anything else nearby (don’t go to the wine bar for good coffee). Staff are kind, and go the extra mile for all their customers. Food is well priced - cheap, even! And delicious, high quality ingredients. Love you, joe bar!

The Joe Bar staff is lovely and pleasant and makes a mean croissant sandwich! New favorite place to treat myself to a breakfast sandwich and a mocha!

The staff at Joe Bar are really sweet and thoughtful. In the few minutes I was there today I saw the baristas proactively consider someone’s mobility access needs, patiently answer questions about the menu, think to ask me if I needed a tray for the couple of drinks I purchased, and generally interact with folks in a friendly manner. (I also love the paint chip guide they added for half and half levels!) Always a pleasant and chill interaction here.
