Delicious food and wonderful service! I got the Jebena Combination (#20). Will definitely be back ?
This place is fantastic. My partner and I shared the jebena combo, and when the menu says it's good for three people, it is speaking truth -- we couldn't finish! The plate has the lamb, chicken, minced beef, and beef tibs, and the tibs are a real standout! The lamb was also fantastic, as were all the sides. I've had Ethiopian before and this place is up there with some of the best! Generous portions, amazingly friendly service, and fantastic prices. Definitely try the samosas, they were flakey and perfect, super stuffed full of delicious filling, and the spicy sauce with it was delicious! I have to come back for more, and for the price, it's an easy decision.
Jebena Cafe is small, but the owner and food are the reasons why we always come back. The owner is usually the one serving the food, she always has a smile on her face and has such a friendly nature. She’s always so happy when she hears customers telling her that they enjoy the food, so you can tell she has a lot of pride in her restaurant! The food itself is always delicious and large portions. We always get the Jebena combo to get a little bit of everything. A huge plate of food for a price you can’t beat. Highly recommend Jebena Cafe!
Hands down my favorite ever Ethiopian restaurant in the Seattle area out of the many that I've tried. The food is consistently amazing, filling, generously portioned, AND the owner has always been so sweet and friendly throughout the years!
My first time trying Ethiopian food and my experience is great! The host is sweet and attentive. She recommended us the Jebena Combination and it easily fed 3 people. The food is full of flavor and different spices. Overall a great place to eat. If you are looking for a great experience - you have to try this place!
Two words: Mystery Meat. I don’t usually leave reviews but after just eating here, I feel inclined to do so to ensure that nobody makes the same mistake. I ordered the combination. The chicken was disgusting, chewy and stringy. My sister got the vegetable and the food was as equally inedible. Additionally, the table next to us ordered the chicken and they were also complaining about their meat. However, the service was okay. I would never go here again and would give it zero stars if I could. We chose this restaurant because it had 4 stars on google review. I am still baffled as to how this place ever got 4 stars.
Greeted so sweetly as we walked in. We were made to feel very welcome. We ordered the large combo meal for 3 people so we got a taste of everything. Delicious food eaten by hand. We also ordered the okra with beef which was yummy. Excellent prices. Will definitely come back.
My boyfriend and I have been here twice now with *phenomenal* service and excellent food. The restaurant is small but cozy & comfortable. The hostess is very endearing, will happily answer any questions you may have about the food, and gives great recommendations. The food as said above is phenomenal. I prefer spicier fare and my boyfriend doesn't. Even eating off the same #18 combination plate both times the food was able to be made to a great middle ground for us. I love the Injera bread but my boyfriend doesn't; but they offer French bread as a substitute if you wish. With a 30% tip the whole meal came out to $33 for both of us. Very affordable.I can't recommend this place enough.
We had an amazing lunch at Jebena Cafe and the customer service was worth ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. We will definitely come back! And…don’t forget to try coffee ☕️.
Best food and service my friends and I have ever had. God must've been in that kitchen helping them cook because food that good has never touched my mouth before. The owner was nothing but sweet with quick service and plenty of food all for a great price. Even though it's about an hour away from us we plan on going back regularly.
