Great little family run coffee shop. Quality coffee, friendly baristas and quaint setting. Nice to find a place that is not a chain.

Rude Barista and subpar cappuccino. I kindly ask for it to not be on the foamy side, but got almost more than half cup of foam.
Java Jahn is a fantastic staple in the Ballard community. You can tell from the friendly conversations and community that there's a lot of rich history here. It's one of the most peaceful places to work, with a surprisingly large amount of seating upstairs. There's always some great classic tunes playing and needless to say, the coffee is delicious too.
The barista was so kind . Came at 4pm right at closing time , she was kind to serve and let me complete it until 4:30.
Cute, local cafe in an industrial part of Ballard. I enjoyed the cappuccino. Howver, not many prepared food options currently. Has a sitting area upstairs which is nice. The ambiance could be made a little more cozy with color and decor; softer music.

Little lovely coffee place that actually serves Cortado (our favorite). Service is great, I always go there if I'm close by.
