I'd assumed Jak's had AC when I booked the table - seems tough to serve $50 steaks in a hot room, but they were doing it anyway.....had I known I wouldnt have gone. It was a special occasion; took my dad (who is 71 and has stage 4 cancer) and he was pretty uncomfortable. I regret using Open Table to make the reservation; would have been better to call to ask if they had AC.

Bone in ribeye was overcooked, service was slow, and many items were unseasoned. Not worth the price.

Overall was good. But of a learning curve in terms of fineness of the steaks. Those of us who ordered steaks or skewers found them to be undercooked, nearly blue rare.

the fish was overdone and dry, the potato pancakes were extremely salty and the steak on the tough side esp for a Filet

Tony is always a great server. He is my favorite. Also shout out to young woman at front. She is always cheerful, extra welcoming and efficient. Food same as always. Fantastic

The food is still great but the noise level is so awful I decided never to eat in the restaurant again. I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone who cares about conversation and low noise levels.

We've been going to Jak's for years, it's been a favorite since we started going to the Issaquah location when they first opened. Great value for a steakhouse. Somewhere along the way they changed. Their salad that comes with dinner used to be a highlight. Last night something was not right. Normally it's such a great opening to the entree. Nope, they changed the makeup somehow. Too much spring greens and it was passe. Ordered the Jak's filet medium rare, it was rare/uncooked. Alerted our server who took it back and returned with another steak, still not great. Service is great. Menu is not as enticing as it was previously, seems limited and some of our favorites are gone. Thankfully they have a good wine list and I enjoyed my Old Fashioned. Great service is a constant.

We were there for the Brussels sprouts of course which were great but everything else was very mediocre. We had a super expensive steak (med rare) and the pork chops. Both were dry and bland. Our kid’s kid cheeseburger looked like a McDonald’s cheeseburger. The whole meal felt super over priced and totally fell flat. Try harder Jak’s!

Visited during a week of repeated 90 degree days. As the restaurant filled, the ambient temperature rose to less than comfortable.

Our reservation took us past closing but crew was excellent. Eve accommodated a late arrival and made sure his meal was just as well presented as the rest of the group.
