This was on my list to visit when we took our weekend trip to Seattle. The customer service is great! I love ❤️ seeing black owned businesses who beat the stigma that we cannot provide good service or we have attitudes, because not all black owned businesses do!!It was a group of 6 of us. They opened probably an hour or two early and the only seating available was the countertops. I didn't get the person who assisted us name, but he was great! He kept checking to see about an available table and he got us a section! I ordered the Captain's Platter (catfish and prawns) with additional sides of coleslaw and potato salad. It was all flavorful, not too salty. (I wish I had some now). They had a live band that set the atmosphere, which I also loved ?My only suggestion is add some tables on the other side by the condiments and to have smaller sides for those like me who want to taste multiple items but don't want a lot. Definitely will try again whenever I go back. ❤️ all the way from THE BAY!
Are you kidding me!? The corn meal crusted catfish and hush puppies I remember as a kid. Live smooth jazz music playing in the corner. A new modern vibe formed out of an old Saturday tradition… Would I like a sweet tea? Does the sun ride in the east? Yes, I’ll take 2 sweet teas please. You can’t beat the lunch special and warm friendly vibes at Jackson’s Catfish Corner.
This place was the bomb. We loved it. The catfish was crispy. The hush puppies were spot on. The fries were great. They a live band playing some down home jazz. The owner came out and thanked us. I don't know what else you could want. We drove from North Bend and were not disappointed. They were busy but with a great crew it was quick.
Nice vibe and super friendly staff. Great food and 5-star service! We tried the Captain platter on our first visit and it was amazibg. The fresh fried catfish and shrimps were absolutely delicious. Batter was airy and light it went really well with house tarter sauce. Green with smoked turkey was excellent.
Absolutely wonderful, fresh, great environment, I’ll most definitely will be back for more!! My new favorite place to eat in Seattle! I’m from Louisiana so it’s nice to finally have some usda catfish
Red Snapper, and catfish A real treat for my mouth along with season fries. We ordered two sides of old fashioned greens and cinnamon sweet yams. Mmm good, Sipping on black tea with lemon slice. Great service, clean restaurant, parking limited but more available around the corner.
Ordered takeout and it was delicious. 1 lbs fried catfish - perfectly fried, crispy yet juicy. Cornbread was the right level of sweetness. Really liked the tartar sauce because it has a slight hot sauce kick.Easy online order and in-store pickup.Will 100% come back.
Excellent Customer Service and food! My family and I enjoyed the indoor dining! After dinner we ordered more food to go! I highly recommend Jackson's Catfish Corner!
